Book Synopsis
Inspired by Thai folklore, THE WHITE ELEPHANT OF HIMMAPAN is about siblings who, on their way to search for a gift for National Elephant Day, get lost in the jungles and come across a mythical white elephant that doesn't quite want them to leave.
Kaew dreams of becoming an elephant handler, just like her dad. To prove she's ready to start her training, Kaew and her little brother, Jiap, set off on a mission to the village orchards to find the perfect jackfruit for National Elephant Day.
But then Kaew loses sight of her brother, and things in the forest begin to play with her. From floating lights and a talking white elephant, Kaew must find her brother and escape-or else they'll miss National Elephant Day and be stuck in the forest forever.
