Battery won't hold a charge.
The first gun I bought wouldn’t work after charging it to 100%. I exchanged it and the 2nd has the same issue. I do not recommend this model. There is a problem with the battery. I will be returning it.

Doesn't work
The device never worked after I took it out of the box. It took overnight for it to charge, and when I unplugged it, the charge immediately dropped to zero. I contacted customer support, and they sent me a FedEx shipping label to return it, saying it would take 3-5 days to process once it was received. It's been two weeks since it was delivered and I've received no response. Requests for a status updates have not gotten a response. I wasted $400 with nothing to show for it except a FedEx delivery receipt. I could have at least gotten several professional massages for the cost.

Battery does not charge out of box (twice)
Bought new. Model started at 0% battery and slowly charged up to 30% before I unplugged to test. It wouldn’t turn on, and when I plugged it back in, it said it was at 0% battery. Exchanged it for another Elite, and had the same issue. Even let it get to 100%, unplugged it to test, and wouldn’t work. Plugged back in to see 0% battery.

Terrible. Battery never held a charge after just one use !
I lost $399. on this Thergun scam. Buy another brand. this is ALL marketing and ALL about exorbitant pricing of their junk. The batteries in Theragun devices are bad and unable to be replaced. The unit is immediately useless. I bought direct from Theragun and they would not respond to a request to return unit for refund. If you get it at Target and are able to return it, GREAT, but that is not the case elsewhere. You have been warned.

Never charged. Dead battery.
I wish I could rate zero stars. Ended up returning it because the battery never charged. It was supposed to be a valentines gift. We’ve been wanting one for at least 6 years so we finally forked over the cash for it. What a joke! and to see this is an incredibly common issue too. I contacted TheraBody support and they could have cared less. They just told me to duke it out with Target. Target was nice about it and allowed me to return it. I just wanted to reach out to TheraBody because this was broken product and that this is an insane price to charge for a product that has so many defective units for sale. Horrible. I’ll find an alternative.

Out of box dead-Twice!
Probably stay away. If you get one that works you sound lucky. First unit exchanged after charging all night and was still dead. It Would say 100% battery. Unplug unit and would not turn on. Plugged right back in and battery back to 0%. Exchanged for a new unit and same exact thing with 2nd new unit. Returning and moving on from product. Serious battery issue with this product currently from forums I’ve found online and here on Target now. Would avoid until they pull old lot #’s with crippled batteries.
