Durable and great for packed lunches
Hands down the longest lasting cup we have purchased. I have tried this style cup in other brands and they didn't last a week and were prone to leaks. The thermos brand cups are made well, the straw seems to fit more snug eliminating lunchbox leaks, and the patterns are cute. The top of the straw is silicone and the bottom a harder plastic so if you have chewers, keep that in mind. Overall, a very sturdy and dependable cup.

Bad, oily-tasting straw
I bought a metal thermos to avoid plastics. The drinking spout is a think plastic straw, which my son tells me tastes funny and he doesn’t like drinking out of it. Tried it out, and sure enough, after a week of use and washes, there is an odd, oily taste to the straw. Back to the old bottle.
