Q: What's the difference between this and the regular Gravity Maze game?

submitted by Lisagaia - 10 months ago
  • A: Hello! Gravity Maze Builder is for 5+ vs 8+ for Gravity Maze. Additionally Gravity Maze Builder has creative challenges to build your own maze from the pieces given.

Fun for my grandsons, but there are not very many pieces to build with. For that price, it should come with more pieces….especially single ones.

Challenging gam for my kids. My children are 8 & 10 and the levels are appropriately challenging for their age. The prices to the game are a little tight to snap in and out of the board but not a big deal.

This game was purchased for my rambunctious 4 year old. She enjoyed the challenge of working thru the game play cards that are neatly clipped together. She especially enjoyed the build your own maze cards built-in to the stack. If you're looking for a independent game for kids-this is it! My kid felt like such a big kid with this game!

This game is great because all 3 of my kids enjoy it. It's something that they can do independently, they choose their own maze to attempt and sometimes they have to try one a few times before they get it right. But seeing them figure it out and make it work, they have the biggest smiles! I also like this game because they are sometimes tempted to give up on a difficult maze but they know that if they can figure it out, they'll be proud of themselves.

I had some doubts that my 5 year old could do this, but if your kid can handle following general Lego style instructions they will do great with this game solo. but it's also a fantastic parent - child activity too. The game seems to really help develop spatial awareness, general instruction following, and fosters creativity when it asks the player to build their own mazes based on certain criteria. and then once they've kind of "graduated" from this game they can move up to the other gravity maze game that's made by the same people for more of a challenge.

Got this for my 6 year old, and she loves it! We did 2 challenges together, and then she kicked me out and played on her own for quite a while. Nice that it's puzzle based, and it doesn't hurt that I really like playing it as well. She is currently now trying to build her own maze with all the pieces. It's totally worth it.
