Thomas & Friends Greatest Moments Diesel and Robot Toy Vehicle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The kids love this train set. It looks great when added to the Thomas and friends train track sets. It works fantastic on the tracks. The kids are excited to play with the trains and are rough with them. The trains do not break easily. The trains do run for a long time on the same batteries. It is a great addition to the othe new homes and friends family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Thomas & Friends Frosting Diesel Motorized Toy Train Engine kept my 5 and 7 year old entertained for hours. It fit our wood tracks and rolled nicely through their village. And although our carpet isn't exactly plush, it is thick enough that not many motorized trains roll through it, which made this train a huge hit. We also appreciated the on and off toggle at the top of the main car to help save the battery life. The train didn't talk, but my little ones didn't mind that at all. It is now their favorite train to play with.

The cargo spins around which is a fun little feature. You turn the engine on with a switch on the roof of the engine, flip it forward and watch it go!!

Then with the flip of the red lever you are chugging along. This engine compared to othe Thomas and friends will continue to run until you flip back the lever. It comes with the engine and two flat trailers with two fun objects to add as cargo. I must say it is highly recommended to have a track for this toy otherwise you will be chasing it all over your place. Kids had a blast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My little girl really had fun playing with this train. The colors are bright and it is very well put together. The only think that stopped me from giving it 5 stars is it kept coming apart a lot during play.

It is also very small and seems kind of cheap, like something you would get in a kids meal at a fast food place. It also didn’t come with batteries, which is kind of annoying. I also thought the packaging was a bit difficult to open. The train moves well but the hooks to connect them aren’t very durable and I can see those snapping off pretty easily. The artistry is very cute and well done. Overall it’s a cute toy but nothing phenomenal.

The cars were simple to connect and disconnect to each other. This is always a big concern if he will be able to connect the cars himself. We also love that this set is easy to integrate into all the other Thomas train sets with plastic tracks that we currently have.

It kept him busy and he was able to incorporate it easily with his other trains. He does wish that it would fit on his wooden track, but finds uses for it anyways. It also didn’t come with batteries. Otherwise, a high quality Thomas toy!

First the colors are bright and vibrant and really do attract his attention, he was memorized by the toys in the train cars. Most of all he absolutely loves the fact that he can push the lever and it just goes on it's own. I like that it's not a absolute sensory overload It is lightweight enough for him to carry around, but made well enough to be durable to stand up to his tough playing . I do wish it was a little bigger because his hand did slip a few times when he was sitting down playing and then again when he was driving it around.. also he was making the choo choo sounds the whole time he played, so we would love to see it have a little button he could push to make some engine sound. Otherwise he really enjoys this toy and has been carrying it everywhere. I would definitely recommend this toy to all my parents friends. He had so much fun with this and it's made well enough to have stood up to my little guy and our 3month old kitten.

My 3 year old son loved making to train go! The train would go very fast and my son would push a car or another train next to it and race. He enjoyed playing with this toy!

This one is a modern set with cool colors and features. Is very sturdy and the hooks that connect the pieces are flexible enough to not break. It requires 2 AAA batteries but my son likes to play with it even without the motorized feature.

Diesel is one of his favorites so that was a big time plus. He loves the frosting paint on it. Very cute
