Gritty/Grainy Bread in Bagel Form
I really dislike these bagels. The texture is terrible as the wheat flakes must have been very coarsely ground. In addition, they are not really bagels. They are wheat bread in bagel shapes. Bagels, by their definition, are supposed to be boiled to give them their trade mark shiny coating and chewy, springy texture. These are grainy, spongy, and bread-like. There are good whole wheat bagels in the world and these do not qualify for that title.
