How long is it supposed to last?

Opened it in March and it was full of mold by April after being stored in the fridge. I thought it would last longer, but I guess the shelf life after opening is less than leading brands as they are usually good for months after opening and storing chilled. I guess you get what you pay for. The taste was alright, so I gave it an extra star, but it doesn't last long after opening and I don't make spaghetti or anything requiring sauce often enough to justify buying it.

Pasta sauce is a must have for a meal on a budget. This pasta sauce is probably the best in the market comparing those that are under $3-$4. Very well priced. Always in my pantry. I highly recommend this sauce.
Thin, sweet, not for pizza

I agree with others. The sauce is thin and sweet. It did not work for my use case, which is to serve as a dipping sauce for pizza. I tried to go to the cheaper route and learned the hard way. Never again. I do think this thin sauce could work for a simple spaghetti with parsley added. I would not say no to it for that particular use case.

Comparable to name brands with a better price. It tastes good and is saucy.

Wish I'd read the ingredients before I bought this. Sugar is very high on the list of ingredients.

I was excited to try this sauce but unfortunately it was so sweet ! It made our spaghetti almost taste like a dessert. I would not try again. The cheap price entices you but you’re better off spend more for a flavorful sauce.

You can’t go wrong with this pasta sauce. Tastes great and the price is very affordable. My picky eaters have no issues with this pasta sauce. You should try it!

This pasta sauce is my favorite! I serve it heated up on top of my steamed in oil fresh spinach and topped with lots of Parmesan cheese! Healthy and delicious! Eat this nearly every week!

I usually got this but noticed today these white things, first I thought it was cheese but like it was burrowed in the tomato chunks. Absolutely disgusting, got a refund for one jar🙄😒 didn't really help the fact that I might have just ingested worms and the customer service was unhelpful. No additional compensation or offer of follow up, nor did the answer my question if it was normal cheese. I literally had to ask them if they wanted the lot number. Don't buy, it also tasted worst than before

had a weird vomit like smell while cooking with my jalapeño sausages. when i added my pasta the taste was just off and gross. i didn’t end up finishing my pasta i just ate the sausages and threw the rest away. i wouldn’t recommend this at all for a pasta sauce.

My go to is Classico three cheese sauce, this is the closest equivalent I’ve found.

I've used plenty of higher end $10-12 jars of pasta sauce, but frankly when you are cooking something like a casserole or a baked pasta dish, there's no point. The inexpensive stuff works just as well. I always pick up a couple jars of the Good & Gather Three Cheese, or sometimes the Meat sauce, and they're all reliably good. Just dump it in a baking dish with sliced zucchini, ground meat, cheese, and whatever other diced veggies you have on hand, and bake for 30 minutes---it's a low stress, low prep comfort meal.
Worms or cheese?

I noticed these little white things in my pasta. I couldn’t tell what it was. I don’t think they were moving but there were enough of them to lose my appetite. I came to the reviews to see what other people say and it looks like there’s been complaints of worms/maggots before. But when I look at the picture of the jar online, it shows little specs that resemble what I saw in my food. My question is, is this part of the cheese or herbs used? Lord I hope so, or else I’m going to vomit.

Used this in lasagna. Super watery and disappointing flavor. Should have stuck with the national brand.
