I bough this thinks it had not perfume, the minute I pulled my wet clothes out of the washer, they had a very strong perfume smell. Not going to buy this again.

Although fragrance or perfume is not added to the product, the detergent will have a scent due to their natural smell. Since there's no masking fragrance added to cover this smell, you may notice it before using the product, but it should not transfer to your fabrics after use. Leaves my clothes super clean and fresh, doesn’t irritate my skin, I left it in a cool dark area and it’s clear and fresh. I recommend this for anyone who has had allergic reactions hives eczema. Smells nice but not perfume just super clean. Gets all the dirt out.

I have used other tide products in the past with satisfaction. I purchased this because it was less expensive. I had a mud stain on one shirt and sauce stain on a different shirt. Didn’t make a dent in the stains at all. I rewashed them with a different tide product and the dirt came out. This may be less expensive, but it doesn’t work nearly as well. I’m very disappointed. Now I have an entire bottle of detergent that I can’t use. There’s no value in this product if it doesn’t work.

Tide Simply detergents contains a different formulation than Tide in that they contain a lower formulation of cleaning ingredients and do not contain enzymes that are used for specific stain removal. The concentration of quality cleaning ingredients in Tide Simply Clean detergents allows it to be offered at a low price while providing quality odor fighting and cleaning power. To better remove tough stains, try Tide Simply Oxi or Tide Original in an orange bottle. I wish I could upload a picture I took. My "24 loads" bottle only HALF full after doing ONE load of laundry, cup filled to the line. Clever trick to use white bottles and clear liquid so no one can see, but I shined a flashlight through the side... Half. Gone.

We do extensive market research and consumer testing while designing our products and each of our bottles are designed and filled with some air-space to allow for proper pouring. I bought this before and enjoyed the product. I recently bought 2 more bottles, only to be met with a nasty smell as well as a brown color instead of clear. As money is extremely tight, I was excited to find an affordable laundry detergent only for it to turn into a waste of money. Very disappointed.

Thank you for sharing that your two recent bottles of Tide Simply Free & Sensitive was brown, and smelled off, Tina. We have many quality checks to ensure they arrive to you in the perfect condition. The color change and scent change may be due to being exposed to direct sunlight. The detergent can also change colors over time. We always recommend storing it in a cool dry place away from sunlight, and using it within 12 months after purchase. We also suggest tossing your two brown bottles of Tide, and replacing it with a new one. Since tide stopped making their free and gentle powdered option we had to find a temporary unscented solution. This detergent has worked well for us- it doesn't seem to get the clothes quite as clean as the powder did. But it works, and there is no scent or smell. Also, for some family members with sensitive skin, this detergent gave no reaction which was another plus!

I just went to use it again and it was brown and smelled..just like the previous review. I keep it on a shelf in my laundry room and it is not exposed to sunlight. I’ve never had detergent go bad that was for sensitive skin.

I LOVE this detergent!! I am allergic to everything, yet this detergent works very well for me. This is the ONLY detergent that does not give me rashes or itchiness. It washes my clothes very well and leaves them smelling fresh but not perfumey which is great! The only downside is that I can no longer find it in any stores any more. PLEASE make this detergent available!! We NEED it!!

I just purchased this for the 1st time because Tide Zero was out of stock. When I got it home I realized there was no HE symbol on it so I gave it away. Then I checked your website and it says its for HE or regular machines. Why is this not indicated on the bottle? Now I have to purchase another bottle. Grrrr
