Q: Can you use milk with this?

A: Thanks so much for reaching out! You can absolutely enjoy your tea with milk, just be sure to steep it with water first. The Brewmaster is designed for water-based steeping, so it’s best to brew your tea as usual, then add milk afterward. Adding milk directly to the Brewmaster can scald it, affect flavor, and make cleanup tougher. Milk pairs best with bolder blends like chai or black teas, while lighter teas might get overpowered. Best way ever to brew Loose Leaf Tea
I have an older one of these that I have been using for a long time. Nothing wrong with it but I decided to go ahead and buy a second one to have in my craft room. I love the teas that I get from Tiesta so much that I set up a second tea station in that room so I ordered another of these to have in there. Clean up is easy and it has never leaked or caused me any other issues. I highly recommend these if you enjoy loose leaf tea as much as I do!

First off I like my tea strong. . . . this seems to filter too quickly. It was a mess to use. Cost maybe prohibative but with the revelations that plastics are now entering and leaving residue in our body a glass version that can use normal paper coffee filters would be an option. Or offering stainless steel tea balls of various sizes.

I love loose leaf tea over the prebagged stuff that often comes with stuff not listed. I've also tried various steeping devices (cup, ball, strainer, bag-your-own-bags) and they're all so messy and drippy. When I saw this I was intrigued and had to think on it for a bit. Do some research. Got one with my next order and first thing I did was take it apart to give it a proper wash by hand. Unfortunately, putting it back together wasn't so easy even with the included instructions. I eventually figured it out after a cup of tea without the device. My morning cups and afternoon pick-me-ups are so much better with this! Hindsight 20/20 I wish I'd gotten it sooner and saved myself the grief from the other methods! And it's so ASMR-ish to watch the tea leaves open up as they steep. It would likely be a similar delight to watch a blooming tea ball open up in this. The filter at the bottom is an excellent fine mesh as well unlike the tea balls and strainers I was using. I highly recommend getting one and before taking it apart, maybe record yourself taking it apart so you know how to put it back together. The manual is vague.

I love this so much!
I'm so happy with this purchase. It easy to use and a breeze to clean! And I have NEVER tasted a yummier tea in my life - without having to add a sweetener. Straight delicious tea - brewed PERFECTLY. I couldn't be happier! Absolutely recommend.
