Q: Does the tile work similar to an air tag that you can pull its location from outside the Bluetooth distance that listed? Like anywhere? For example like in your lost luggage that ends up across the country?

A: Hi Det313, The Tile Slim will use Bluetooth when in the specified range. You will be able to ring your phone and ring your device when in Bluetooth range. When outside of Bluetooth range, your phone will use the Life360 network to locate your items. You are able to track your luggage across the country. Thanks,

When the battery dies it's dead. You cannot replace the battery. You cannot recharge the battery. They want you to buy a whole new one. Won't do that again.

This devise is useless if you want it in your wallet. I started using this, but every time I sat down, because my wallet was in my back pocket, it started beeping and then ringing my phone! I had to stop using it because I was tired of it incorrectly triggering every time I wanted to sit down. Dont buy this if it is for your wallet and you keep it in your back pocket.

While trying to find my tracker to do this review I completely forgot about the "find my tracker" noise function and was riffling through my luggage from a recent trip. My partner and i couldn't find the tracker anywhere. But then i remembered about that nice little noise function, set it off, and immediately located the tracker. All in all very happy with the tracker, it's size, functionality, and usage. It's small enough to fit in your wallet and thin enough to slip almost anywhere. Pros: extremely easy to set up and use. Size is convenient. Different sound options available for free. Loud tracking noise. Accurate location description. Cons: Like most subscription-based tech gadgets, there are some features you can't access via the app unless you pay for the subscription. And oddly the battery isn't replaceable, so once it dies it's dead.

I'm using it for my luggage, and it tracks my bags really well. The app has several cool features, including location history, smart alerts, and find-my-phone features. The app is user-friendly, too. Definitely worth it if you want to keep track of important belongings!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the Tile Bluetooth tracker, compliments to Influenster, and it’s been a game changer for keeping track of my stuff. As someone who’s constantly juggling work, family, and social commitments, losing my keys or wallet was becoming a regular headache. Setting it up was a breeze; just download the app, and you’re good to go. The range is decent—around 200 feet, which is usually enough for my needs. The community find feature is a nice touch too; if you misplace something and someone with the app walks by, you’ll get a notification. The sound when you’re trying to find something is loud enough to actually help, and I appreciate that the design is sleek and unobtrusive. On the downside, the battery life could be better; it lasts about a year before you need to replace it, which is a bit of a hassle. Overall, the Tile tracker has saved me more time than I care to admit. If you’re forgetful like me, it’s definitely worth the investment.

My husband tends to forget where he leaves his wallet. So from the tile app that you download in order to locate it. Press a button and the tile will make a sound. Another thing that I liked is that if I miss place my phone. The tile has a button where you can press and it’ll ring my phone.

I put this Life360 in my luggage, kids' backpack on field trips, and even with mother just to give me that sense of ease knowing where things are. It works great on my S23 l, and the battery seems like it will last forever, even though it says 3 years.

When you activate the feature to find it, it plays a loud and clear sound to ensure you’ll find it wherever it may be. It’s also nice that you can see exactly where it is on a map within the app if you’re still having trouble locating it, and that alone has already saved me time and stress in finding my wallet as I’m trying to rush out the door. Initial setup and pairing was a breeze. It’s about as thin as two standard credit cards put together, so it will fit into any wallet with ease. No issues with it going off if you keep your wallet in your back pocket and sit on it, so that’s a plus. Highly recommend this unit!

I didn’t even know companies made trackers that are so slim they can fit easily into a wallet! I’ve used Tile before many years ago when they first released their trackers and thought it was handy to keep an eye on my cat, but am even more impressed at their Slim (2024) tracker as it really is so thin I almost thought there was no way it would have a battery inside to work it. The sound that comes from the tracker is very loud so I think it would be easy to track down if lost, and their app provides a pretty precise location of where the tracker is. I also appreciate that they worked with Life360 to give an option that allows you to press the button on the tracker to send a distress signal to any contacts you set up. This tracker is definitely worth the price.

It easily fits into your wallet and does not take up much space. The Tile Slim is very accurate, and you can easily find the location on the app. The battery life says it's three years. However, it also says it is not replaceable. I would like for there to be an option to replace the battery. The Tile Slim is very versatile and can be used in many different ways. You can also use the Tile Slim to locate your phone. I recommend the Tile Slim and will enjoy having it around. It's an extra security added to your life.
