I've never tried Timberland for that specific need but have always enjoyed my other Timbs over the last 25 years. This purchase is a disappointment. While the reduced price was great (probably because this color didn't sell), they just are not very comfortable. Timberland didn't meet their normal standard here.

I purchased these a few months ago and the soles wear out fast. The front and back of the soles are already gone. The toe protector is a little tight as well.
I definitely would buy this sneakers again!

Even though I am a 9 regular, I got this a 9W and it was the best choice. A regular would be too uncomfortable for me. I would recommend it and will get another pair later on.

A practical and attractive design, but improvements are needed. There is something wrong with the heel cup because it causes blisters. Something is weird about the shoelaces-come loose too easily.

I wear them out and to the bank mostly, but like to have a safety toe because I lift and don't like taking the risk of dropping something on my toes. They have gotten a little dirty but they clean up well.
