Inspire children to fall in love with the world they live in with Tiny Travelers!
The Tiny Travelers "Treasure Quest" Series takes its readers on a fun-filled journey to discover what makes each country special with search-and-find features on every spread. In Tiny Travelers India Treasure Quest, readers journey from the magical Taj Mahal to fabulous Bollywood. From the beautiful festival of color Holi, to the incredible Himalayas, Tiny Travelers will enjoy getting closer to Indian culture, making magical discoveries along the way. Each illustrated spread invites children to discover hidden "treasures" - icons, animals, statues, instruments and more - that make up incredible India. "Most kids today are told that it's a small world, when in fact it's a really big world," says Encantos CEO and Tiny Travelers creator and author Steven Wolfe Pereira. "And because the world is so big, there are many countries, cities, and cultures that have yet to be discovered and explored by kids. We created Tiny Travelers to foster curiosity, empathy, and understanding by learning what makes people and places so special." "A+ educational content....Wonderful... to share with young kids -- to broaden their horizons and discover new places of interest!" -- Common Sense Media "Purpose is at the core of the Tiny Travelers launch... The goal is to expose kids to the vastness and diversity of the world beyond their backyards, engendering empathy for different cultures, geographies and languages at a time when people all over the world are more connected than ever via digital platforms."- Forbes "The books are full of fun facts, hidden "easter eggs", and rhyme-based storytelling. They're infused with keywords from the featured country's language, helping teach kids correct pronunciation and useful phrases for travel." - ParentologyReview Quotes
"A+ educational content....Wonderful... to share with young kids -- to broaden their horizons and discover new places of interest!" --Common Sense Media
"Great for kids of all ages, the interactive book is packed full of beautiful illustrations and rhyme-based storytelling." --Red Tricycle "This series would be perfect for elementary classrooms and libraries!" --Megan Honeycutt, Librarian at Chattanooga Valley Elementary "The books are full of fun facts, hidden easter eggs, and rhyme-based storytelling. They're infused with keywords from the featured country's language, helping teach kids correct pronunciation and useful phrases for travel." --Parentology "Teachers, and home-schooling parents, can use the Tiny Travelers(TM) series to introduce geography to their students and toddlers in addition to cultures, sports, nature, people, and places. Curious preschoolers will question and compare what they learn with their own world. Adding the "Search and Find" segment gives each child a hands-on experience with both reading and the content at hand. Parents planning a trip to India can prepare their child by reading the India Treasure Quest. (Other Tiny Travelers(TM) Country Guides include Mexico, China, Puerto Rico, France, and Japan, with additional counties planned.) From New Delhi to Punjab, kids will get a good beginning understanding of the diversity and culture of India. Tiny Travelers(TM) Country Guides introduce young children to a new global awareness at a time when their brains can soak in this adventure-based learning." --Sue Morris, Kid Lit Reviews "Purpose is at the core of the Tiny Travelers launch... The goal is to expose kids to the vastness and diversity of the world beyond their backyards, engendering empathy for different cultures, geographies and languages at a time when people all over the world are more connected than ever via digital platforms." --Forbes "This longer board book is in essence a travel guide for toddlers. Rhyming text introduces India by explaining the background of several national monuments and holidays, Bollywood and cricket. Sidebars shaped like tickets offer other facts and words in Hindi, and each page opening has a (extremely easy) seek and find component. What appears to be colorful digital art shows happy, round faced folks from India with light brown skin enjoying all of the country's pleasures and activities. Readers are invited to join the Tiny Travelers Club on line, and to sign up to receive free stickers to affix to the stamp shapes in the book. A serviceable title for families of toddlers making their first trip to India." --Stephanie Tournas, Youth Services Book Review "This series is perfect for parents or educators who want to introduce new countries to kids, and teach them more about these counties. I absolutely love the pronunciation guides with the words!" --Heather Justus, Educator "A captivating book for sparking a love of learning about countries and cultures around the world, India Treasure Quest will be a favorite destination to explore." --Celebrate Picture Books "The newest addition to the @gotinytravelers series is out today! My kids loved learning more about India and spotting things that were familiar to them. With hidden images on each page, engaging illustrations and design, and interesting facts spread throughout, this series is perfect for introducing new countries to a range of ages. The hidden images are easy to find and the pages are thick and sturdy which makes it ideal for young children, but my almost 7 year old loves reading them just as much. One thing I especially appreciate is that each book in the series has had an expert from the featured country lending their input to maintain cultural authenticity. We are excited to see that there are many more countries to come for this series! Which county would you love to see featured in a series like this?" --Stephanie Price, Because My Mother Read "This richly illustrated, engaging look at a world region and culture encourages young readers to see things from a global perspective. Absolutely wonderful." --Melissa Taylor, Imagination Soup "I love this seek and find and all the extra information it provides. Kids will not even notice they are learning while having fun when viewing this book!" --Marie Sutton, Librarian, NetGalley "Such an adorable book and so informative! Looking forward to introducing more books from this series to my students!" --Summer Hickman, Educator, NetGalley "I love this series of Tiny Travelers. So compact with beautiful illustrations, and now when you read during this pandemic, it is somewhat entertaining to be able to travel to other countries within our walls." --Jo Clairefontaine, NetGalleyAbout the Author
