how to measure

finding your shoe size takes just 3 steps.

  1. Stand with one bare foot on a piece of paper.
  2. Mark the paper at the back of your heel bone & at the end of your longest toe.
  3. Measure the distance between these two points in a straight line, & repeat the same steps for the other foot.

If one foot is longer, use the larger measurement to find your shoe size by referencing the size chart above. If your measurement is in between sizes & the shoes don’t come in half sizes, please round up to the next size.

Remember, this chart can only approximate your true shoe size. Finding a shoe that fits also depends on brand, style and individual. To find the best fit, we recommend visiting a Target store to try on different shoe sizes & styles.

  • A: I washed mine several times and alllowed them to air dry. no issues except the canvas was just a little stiff after the first wash and after that they were good to go which brings me back to but more!

  • A: Do not throw these in the dryer! I haven’t tested out just washing them yet. But both times I have thrown them in the dryer, it has warped the bottom and torn out the insole. They become completely unusable because my kids chunky feet (the reason I buy C&J) won’t fit top to bottom.

The description is incredibly wrong. I don't know if I was sent a display shoe, perhaps, but the shoes are hard plastic, almost like doll shoes. It's really weird. I have bought different variations of this shoe many times for my child, and they were always soft, like a normal shoe. This is not! It's a hard plastic. His heels are going to get so raw/cut up in these. Horrible. Do NOT buy the light blue gingham pattern. That's the one we bought.

As other reviewers mention, these are quite stiff. They may loosen with wear, but my biggest concern was the back where the shoe hits the heel. It’s not padded in any way and I was concerned they would rub and cause blisters. I am returning.

These shoes are great for a growing child! Since my son could walk I’ve continued buying each size, they grow out of shoes so quickly and these are very reliable for 10$.
