Tonka Steel Classics - 4x4 Pickup

These Tonka steel classic trucks are NOT all steel. Depending on the actual vehicle they can be 90% plastic.

This truck is awesome. It is well made and stands up to rough, frequent use. It has that legendary Tonka quality. My son loves the sound the truck makes when he pushes it around. All 3 of our kids use it, and their friends. The metal has held up well. I have no concerns about it denting or breaking. Visually, it is “cool” and very much appeals to boys.

She loaded it with rocks , she was zooming though the house . The quality is unbeatable . Paint held up with her using it in rocks and it took a tumble a few times . Wheels turn smoothly no issues with then getting locked up .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 4x4 pick up truck is pretty heavy duty. It has stood up to our very rough 4 and 5 year olds. The plastic is thick so there has not been any cracking or breaking even after they have been thrown down our hard stairs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my nieces and nephews love this toy! whether they're hauling bugs or dirt, or their baby dolls, or a snack for their favorite aunt- this toy is DURABLE. would recommend especially for anyone going through a truck phase with their little one!

Overall good except the ‘tow cord’ doesn’t stay rolled up. It just hangs. Idk if it’s supposed to be that way or not but it seems like a flaw.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son has two off these trucks and he loves to play with them. They are made out of good material and don’t look or feel cheap. My son plays with them outside in the dirt and sometimes in the mud. They still look new. Highly recommended.

I have two girls ages 3 and 5 (with a brother on the way) and they have been having a great time playing with this pickup truck. They are typically into dolls, barbies, and babies, but have been drawn to this truck a lot. It can definitely take the beating of a kid; it is durable and will last well throughout our boys childhood once he is born. This truck is functional; the wheels move, and it has the working piece on the front. Overall it’s been a well made, classic toy that everyone can love.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My grandsons who is 4 and one that is 8 love this 4×4 PU Truck. It is a great brand and it has been around forever. My 34 year old son use to play with Tonka brand trucks. I still have some of his old toys. You can play in the sand, gravel and even in the grass. The body is real light metal and the window and tires are plastic. Doors don't open but tailgate opens. Con: wish doors opened. -the winch doesn't stay on and it drags. My grandson kept catching it on things. -4 year old didn't know how to use winch -I was hoping tires were rubber, but them seem to be a real hard plastic. Again Tonka is well known and made to last a long time.

However, I will say to make sure and watch out for toes while playing - it hurts if the truck drops on them. Great toy truck!

These toys are amazing quality because they toss them around the house and they don’t break. They have a collect of this brand and I can honestly say they are great sturdy toys. Overall, these are great toys for both boys and girls my kids love them.

He loves to play in the dirt and be rough with his toys, so Tonka is a great brand for that. With the dirt and rain, you can see the other brands not withstanding, but Tonka always does. Excellent truck.

So happy my kids can enjoy it, and love it as much as I do. The truck body is steel and the rest is plastic making it light enough to be carried and strong enough to survive kids. Everything still looks new, and we've had it awhile now! Totally worth it!
