  • A: The garlic dip with cottage cheese? No. This is a traditional Middle Eastern style toum sauce. It has only garlic, oil and lemon juice traditionally. Toom has a couple of other ingredients as stabilizers and flavor enhancers, but Toom and other toum dips contain no dairy. If you've ever had schwarma with garlic sauce, that sauce was most likely toum.

    I love this dip. I usually get some carrot sticks to dip in it and it’s super tasty. Careful though because this is pretty calorie dense at 80 cal per tablespoon, and will definitely give you garlic breath, but it’s so worth it.
