My soon to be first grader and I were back to school shopping and she insisted she needed 'accessories' for school lol! She saw the headbands that were on clearance and she felt this was the perfect one. She loves it. Not too tight for a 6 year old, though I'd be worried it would be too tight on me, for those who are sensitive to tighter headbands. Definitely a great purchase, especially at half price.
