Do NOT buy this bike! I thought it looked great from the pictures but it’s crap. The instructions are terrible. The tools they provide suck. The braking system does not work for the rear brake which is why I’m returning it. After putting the whole thing together and working on manipulating the tension for the brakes for hours, I’m just done. The braking system for the rear is not a traditional one. When you pull on the brakes there is a band around the wheel that tightens to slow down movement. I could see the brakes trying and it would slow a tiny bit but imagining a child on this bike going down hill is a scary thought. If you love your child do not buy this bike. Spend the extra money and buy a Huffy or Schwinn. I’m also very seasoned with putting things together and by no means was this simple by using the instructions. The images were tiny and not descriptive.
