A: There is no assembly / tools required. The gym unfolds for set up. Accessories are attached with hitch pins.

Q: Can I add a weight bar like the G3 version? One user said there's a hole at the bottom of the G3's glideboard to insert a 1 inch weight bar. I am hoping thst this is true for the G5.
A: Yes, you can add a weight bar to the G5, the same as you can with the G3. You can see the hole for it it in the photos of the G5 on other sites.

Q: Apex G3 regarding C-Pin (safety hitch c pin, not the one attached to the lanyard) holes directly below height adjustment assembly don't line up. Is it supposed to go further down on the column?

Q: Can this machine be both used and stored outdoors?
A: Hey Renee, Certainly the Total Gym APEX G5 could be used outside on a stable surface, however it is made of materials that are not designed to be subjected to "weather", so do not keep/store outside. Thanks for your interest..... Jeremy, Total Gym
