Toy Story VTech 5 Buzz Lightyear Learning Watch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great little interactive kids watch that sizes up and down to fit a variety of kids ages. While the display is not in color, the outside does have a blue light that lights up when it is operating. When the battery slip is pulled, it immediately starts working, which is great. I rated this a four star because it is not actually functional meaning when the watch asks a question such as “which one is the picture of Buzz lightyear“ the watch automatically selects the correct image. But it is still very engaging and fun for Littles and the classic Buzz Lightyear voice is awesome.

It is very kid friendly and easy to use, from the sounds, the watch faces, the buttons and the lights. It is really good quality and is the perfect way to introduce time to your little one while making it fun and educational at the same time. Only downside, it was a bit uncomfortable in strapping on for my son but otherwise a good fit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is nice for kids, unfortunately my boy did not seem to catch interest in using it or exploring the options coming with it. Seems pretty sturdy, good for the value, good quality, takes some practice to learn how to use it so I could see why my 4 year old might have not catch the different options and games from this watch. We will definitely give this watch another try when he gets a little older.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a fun and engaging watch for my almost 5 year old! It is a little heavy on her wrist but she likes to hold it to play as well. It has so am y features and games as well. It is a hard plastic so it will hold up for sure.

It makes few of the famous buzz light year noises and sounds . Love the little games . Super fun over . The material seems good quality and can be used by little hands . My only complaint is that is says 3+ years … and my son is almost 5 yo but the watch / dial is way too big for those little hands ! I gave it to my son and it would not stay on at all .. he rather uses it as a toy and using the games than wear and use it ! But overall an awesome entertainment and learning toy.

We love that it includes 4 learning games as well as a stopwatch, timer and even an alarm. The watch is so easy to set up and even though it's a little bulky, it is so much fun for kids.

You are able to change the home screen picture to different Toy Story characters. The watch is easy to put on and take off. The watch has many different sounds and features - games, alarm, and stop watch. My son really enjoys the games and I like that they are educational (numbers, bilingual numbers, counting, finding friends). It also automatically shuts off when not in use but time stays correct. It’s been a great way for my son to learn numbers and how a digital clock looks.

You can find buzz's friends, count, match words with numbers, and lazer the big or small number. It keeps my little one entertained and they enjoy it.

My daughter is obsessed with Toy Story and loves how the voice clips in this watch make the playtime interactive and exciting. What I love the most that it is not a regular watch, it comes with a few built-in games, plus features like timer, stopwatch and alarm which keeps her engage along with learning counting and telling time. The watch is pretty sturdy as with kids they drop it here and there. The buttons are easy for small hand to use and the light up screen adds to the overall fun.

It is not easy to operate, even I did not understand it until I read the directions. Even then, the games were not fun for her. Overall it seems too complicated for very little kids and not engaging enough for one’s old enough to operate it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fun watch and toy that can help introduce the concept of time and number practice to a young Toy Story fan. My 4-year-old son loves the laser comparison game and has gotten noticeably better at understanding larger vs. smaller numbers from it. Buzz's voice is used for the sound effects, which is really fun. A few helpful tips: the battery it ships with likely won't last long, so have a fresh CR2450 on hand. The battery instructions recommend replacing it right away so I suspect the battery it comes with doesn't last long. When you receive the watch, it's in test mode. The instructions to exit this mode are clear, but they don't mention that the lid needs to be opened to 180 degrees. I opened it to 90 degrees and couldn't figure out why it wasn't working, it took me several tries to realize this! Full usage instructions aren't in the box, only the battery info, but there's a QR code to scan for the complete manual. Worth doing a quick run through before handing it over so that you're able to help out with the less intuitive parts. I didn't see a way to mute or adjust the button beeping sounds. The watch is also a bit large on a small wrist, which is cute in a Buzz costume kind of way, but might feel out of place as an everyday watch. If you set an alarm, it repeats daily. I was caught off guard when it went off again the next day at the same time, I assumed turning off the alarm sound meant it was done. This watch is a good pick if you're treating it as a watch first and game device second. The four games are simple and won't hold attention for long stretches, but each one does advance to harder difficulty levels as your kid gets answers right. Best fit is ages 4-5 who are really into Buzz or Toy Story!

It is super cute and she loves the flip up Buzz front. Not only does it tell time, but there are numerous games she can play! She can even change the display on the watch too! Great quality watch, she is 5 years old and is definitely entertained- she hasn’t taken it off all week!

It has all time features like stopwatch, timer and alarm and features voice of Buzz. It is colorful and safe for a kid but cannot keep a 5 yo entertained for too long and is too big for smaller kids.

It works great for a watch aspect but the other options such as the games etc are hard to find and hard for her to navigate. I give an A for effort the concept of the watch but this isn't something I'd personally purchase for her.
