If you are asking whether you need to have an existing Internet service in order to access the Internet through this device, the answer would be yes. Please also bear in mind that this device is not a router, so if your network doesn't already have a router, you'll need one if you plan to connect more than one device at a time to your network. TP-Link has numerous, reliable Wi-Fi router models available.
