Enjoy reliable Wi-Fi with the TP-Link TL-WR940N 450Mbps Wireless N Router. The Wireless N router creates strong Wi-Fi connections for devices throughout your home. With MIMO technology, TL-WR940N creates an exceptional and advanced wireless performance, making it ideal for streaming HD video, VoIP and online gaming.

TL-WR940N can establish a wireless network and get up to 18X the speed and 6X the range of conventional 11g products. Also, with transmission rates up to 450Mbps, it shows more excellent abilities of mitigating data loss over long distances and through obstacles in a small office or a large apartment, even in a steel-and-concrete building. Above all, you could easily pick up the wireless network during long-distance connection where legacy 11g products may not.

The router has the speed to work smoothly with almost any bandwidth intensive application including VoIP, HD streaming, or online gaming, without the lag. Using its powerful N technologies, the router is also able to mitigate data loss over long distances and through obstacles turning your home and even your yard into one big hot spot.

They claim 450Mbps is "theoretically" possible under "ideal" conditions. However, the connection between the modem and the router is limited to 100 Mbps. This is A hard limit. Over 100 Mbps is IMPOSSIBLE.see moreof the reviewer's review

The modest price for this TL-WR940N 450Mbps Wireless N Router makes it an ideal choice for a home or small office with a limited number of devices. I found it incredibly easy to set up using WPS. Alternatively, the mobile Tether app guides you through the process step by step. Although it's a single...see moreof the reviewer's review

After unboxing this little gem, the setup was the normal easy TPLink setup screens. I love the fact that TPLINK isnt changing their setup wizard. The router came online very easilly and quickly and worked very well. As I added more devices (>7) the router seemed to slow down and speeds started suffe...see moreof the reviewer's review

This wireless-N router is a good basic router on its own, provided that you don't have a lot of Internet demands; however, its true power comes from its ability to be used as a simple router, a range extender, or an access point. Because it's relatively small with a body of 9"W x 5.5"D x 1"H (the th...see moreof the reviewer's review

Budget but very powerful router. Great basic design and great budget price. As long as your internet speed is under 100mbps this router will be just fine (unless you need better WiFi needs) I was able to achieve just right around 95mbps wired but only around 60mbps wireless (this will vary) one of t...see moreof the reviewer's review

Simple and Straightforward. It was pretty easy to set up even for someone like me who is not very tech savvy. I haven't experienced any issues with connectivity, and when I tested the internet speed it was decent. I am a pretty low bandwidth user so I may not have tested the product to its limit. This wireless N router is great for anyone that does not need the bells and whistles of the wireless AC technology. The device works great with laptops, tablets and other devices that only have the wireless N tech. The speeds are great but not as fast as you would get with the AC. Overall great prod...see moreof the reviewer's review
