Most transformer toys he has had in the past are a nightmare for me because he's constantly asking me to change it, but after showing him how to transform this one a couple of times, he had it. He's able to let his imagination run wild and play without having to wait because he can transform it himself. It is fun & easy to play with.

But the important thing is that he likes it.

The rubber band works surprisingly well for the transformation. The con of this toy is that the plastic is very thin and feels as if it could break very easily.

Beast Wars was an exciting show to watch in the 90s/early 2000s, and the product line from that series was top notch. That product line is what I compare this toy to. Overall, its small compared to some fugures (such as megatron from 1998). This is likely not an issue for many current fans who may or may not have the older styles. One benefit of this figure is that transforming it is much easier than older models - no instructions were needed for my kids ages 9 and 12, where some were needed for the old ones. The only reason i give this 4/5 is due to the quality. The plastic feels very light and flimsy, almost like a mcdonalds toy. Those who played eith the original line would instantly spot this difference. I have to wonder if this will hold up as well as they have based on the materials used.

This toy is meant for 6+ kids but my 5+ year old and 30+ yr old me likes it already. It’s a night bird from the transformers movie and actually transforms into a car. It is a bit tricky to transform it because it isn’t just turn around and change it type but has special flex changers that allow one to move it around in various directions until you get the right alignment and then click those parts together. It is a very cool toys for boys and girls alike if they’re into action figures and cars (or just transformers). I do wish it was slightly bigger in size and that the plastic coulllddd have been better. The packaging could be improved too but for the price point that it is in, I think it’s a fair deal that you get something that tranforms well and is pocket friendly too. Would recommend to anyone wanting to get something for their kids that amazes them and doesn’t get too heavy on the pocket either!

Nightbiird transforms from robot to a cool looking car by flexing the pieces. My 8 year old was able to flex it into a car in about 2 minutes. Now they have added more of these transformers to their Christmas lists.

It’s a basic transformer toy, thin plastic pieces, directions on how to transform it back into its vehicle. My son had a difficult time figuring out how to get it to transform back into the bot. It’s hard to get it to fit back perfectly. Overall it’s fine, he is enjoying it!

Now he usually likes to keep them mint in the box for collecting, but not this one. This one he’s Opened and played with our nephew with. He says it’s really easy transform and it’s fun to play with. Even the half-transformed parts are easy to use with imagination. I like it. Feels good in your hands, not cheap or flimsy.

My kids love it, my son and my daughter both spend hours playing with their Transformers. The Nightbird is an awesome addition. It's a well made toy, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it for small children. My children are 9 and 11 and they've had no issues or problems with it. I absolutely recommend it.
