Did not work.

Ordered this item online and received an empty box. And I am not able to return it. Need help

Super easy to set up and the battery lasted the whole trip. There were a couple quick blips in connection, but nothing major—totally worth it for the convenience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who enjoys travelling, I was genuinely excited to try out the TravelSmart by Conair Bluetooth Wireless Audio Adapter. I recently took a flight to South Dakota and thought it was the perfect opportunity to try them out on the inflight entertainment! The concept of the device is fantastic. It’s a compact, lightweight Bluetooth adapter that plugs into a headphone jack (perfect for airplane seat-back screens), allowing you to connect your bluetooth earphones and enjoy tangle free audio. It even has a handy switch to toggle between TX (transmit) and RX (receive) modes and charges via micro USB. Unfortunately, in practice, it really let me down. I tried multiple times during my flight to get it to pair with my AirPods, and no matter what I did resetting the device, making sure it was on the right mode, ensuring the AirPods were in pairing mode, reading and rereading the instructions - I just couldn’t get it to work. I managed to get the device to connect to my AirPods but still couldn’t hear anything. I even gave it another try on the flight back home, thinking maybe I’d missed a step or hadn’t given it enough time. But once again, no success. Thankfully, I brought a backup pair of wired earphones, or I wouldn’t have been able to watch any of the movies on the plane! It was disappointing because I was looking forward to having a smoother, wire-free listening experience, especially on longer flights. I really wanted to love this, and I still think it’s a great idea, but unfortunately, it just didn’t deliver for me. Maybe it works better with different Bluetooth headphones or used in another way - rather than the plane tv, but based on my experience, I can’t recommend it confidently right now.

It didn't work too well for me in terms of connectivity, however, the sound quality was better than I expected. I also enjoyed how compact it is, so it doesn't interfere too much with space on your travels. The battery also lasts quite a long time!
