A: When the wick discolors, smells, or is hard with minerals, it should be changed or when cleaning the nozzles/emitters doesn’t improve the performance. At least every 6 months.

This is an initial review. The humidifier came with 2 stick filters. It did not cone with the usb cable like it was supposed to. However, I think it will be great for the car while on the road during this allergy season.

Cute & powerful...but short duration.

I was surprised how powerful this is. It shoots out a ton of mist. So far I've had no issues with it. Works great. But be advised, portable doesn't mean chargeable. I was under the impression you could charge it and just move it anywhere. But no, it needs to be plugged in. And since its a USB connection...you'll need an adaptor to plug the very short supplied USB cable into an outlet. Also...it only runs about 3-4 hours max on the intermittent setting. So if you plan on having this on during the night while you sleep, it will shut off. You'll need to fill it up and plug it back in at some point during the night. Thats a bit of a bummer. Wish they could redesign the base to hold 2x the water so it'd run 7-8 hours.

Sad return

I had high hopes for this product. It’s perfect size for my small plant area, the LED colors are pleasant, I really liked the aesthetic and it’s two mist settings. However, water builds up on top and keeps the humidifier from missing properly, which causes water to run down the side and pool up below. Even on the low setting, it runs out in about 6 hours, generally before I come back home.

Drips everywhere!

At first I was super impressed with everything except for the very short USB cord. But the second time I ran it and every time since (even on intermittent), water condenses all over the top including the cord and drips everywhere. It doesn’t last more then maybe 4-5 hours.
