Disc condition Older discs may have: Scratches Disc rot (rare but possible) If damaged → may skip or not read 2. Disc format ✔️ Works with: DVD, DVD‑R, DVD+R (most cases) ❌ May NOT work well with: Very old burned discs (especially low‑quality CD‑R/DVD‑R) Obscure or non-standard formats 3.
