Tribest Freshlife 3000 Automatic Sprouter – Green

Sprouts taste great! I always make broccoli sprouts and 1 other kind. Getting ready to try an extra barrel this week.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the simplicity! Easy to set the seeds, easy to change the water as many times a day as I see I need it. I grew wheatgrass, sunflower greens, turnip sprouts and pea shoots. I am saving up for another unit as it makes sprouting so much less work.

I bought this Freshlife 3000 Automatic Sprouter with 2 extra barrels, and was very amazed at how well it performed. After doing research, I found out that legumes are higher in nutrition when sprouted first, than when they are boiled from their dry state. The sprouting helps the nutrients surface and therefor are more easily absorbed by the body. Because legumes are heavier that alfalfa seeds, they don't need the second tray to hold them down when being watered. I use the 2nd tray for another tray of legumes, thus doubling the capacity in each barrel. I found some small glass jars that were 3 inches tall and 1 1/2 inches wide, and they were spaced equally on the trays to support the 2nd tray. Later I may cut a 3/4 inch Birch dowel at 3 inches long to replace them, allowing more space. In the meantime, I purchased 3 more trays for sprouting 9 trays of legumes per cycle. With every watering, I have been using from 8 to 15 vigorous drops of Lemon Essential Oil to disinfect the water. I expect the food to come with a tinge of lemon, assuring me that there is definitely no contamination in the water whatsoever. With using the Lemon Essential Oil I have never had to do anything more than empty the main holding tank and wipe it down with a paper towel. No Trace of Scum at All. It's As If It Were Brand New. The Essential Oil is worth the money. I can only escalate at this point for the endless recipes in worldwide cuisines.

We absolutely love our Freshlife Sprouter! The sprouts taste so good, and so fresh. Plus, it’s so much fun watching the sprouts grow! This sprouter is so easy to use, and I can’t recommend it enough.

As a beginner sprouter this automatic sprouter had been a dream come true. If you change out the water every day everything will grow just fine. I find that the Broccoli & Radish sprouts are the most potent.

LOVE this sprouted. I grow about four trays of micro greens at a time. This takes up a lot of space, as you might imagine. I can add another whole harvest of sprouts to that by using my Freshlife 3000 and it is so easy! Can’t wait to try the second level.

Other than it takes longer to sprout than the instructions indicated, the sprouts are perfect! My daughter thought it was soothing to watch the watering cycle.

I have used Mason jars and other containers to make sprouts. This sprouter really does the job. Sprouts are ready in about 4 or 5 days. They are quite tasty. It’s so easy to use this machine.

The trays should be solid not so screen like. The tails if the sprouts and unsprouted seeds get stuck and are a hassle to clean out. The vertical spacing between trays is too close. I use inverted shot glasses to separate. The little handles on the trays are LITTLE, very hard to pick trays up. Only 2 trays come with unit. It is nice to have sprouting automated and not have to rinse every few hours.

This is the best thing ever!!! I was sick of thinking that sprouts were a luxury item at the store (so expensive). I received my sprouter, set it up and 8 days later I'm harvesting!!! This was a no-brainer.

This sprouter is THE BOMB. Always get great results. Change the water once a day, easy to do. No issues with the motor as one reviewer had. Use it weekly when I am in town. Buy Sproutman seeds, they are the BEST. I use sprouts on salads, in smoothies, as a topping for soups & chili. Fantastic, simple. Follow the instructions, call Tribest if you need any help, they are great!

This is the second sprouter we purchase, just junk. the first one the motor when bad could not get a new motor. So we purchase the new model Freshlife- 3000 and the motor just went bad on it. still trying to find a motor.

I wanted a good sprouter and this is it...as advertised, excellent quality...I look forward to many years of fresh sprout eating! We own the Tribest juicer also and just like it, this sprouter is a top quality product focused on a healthy living style. Highly recommend both products.
