Description
The Tripp Lite® by Eaton® OMNI1500LCDT OmniSmart® Line-Interactive Tower UPS System offers voltage regulation, surge suppression, and long-lasting battery support for personal computers, network workstations, home entertainment systems, and media centers. Internal UPS circuits support entry-level PCs or individual VCR/DVR components during power failures. It prevents data loss, viewing interruptions, lost recordings, and loss of component programming. Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) circuits continuously regulate brownouts and overvoltages from 92 volts to 150 volts back to usable levels, all while maintaining a full battery charge. It includes 10 built-in outlets, 5 of which have full battery backup and surge suppression for vital system components and another 5 with surge-suppression only for accessories not requiring battery support. Built-in USB port and included cable enables optional unattended system shutdown without data loss in case of extended power failure._

This is used with medical instruments and serves as a power source during an outage. Needed several times recently during a local storm when it worked perfectly. Excellent device.

Great product.
Replaced An Omni 1300 with the Omni 1500. The 1300 lasted 9 years. I replaced the Batteries in the 1300 and it is providing great service for my wife's computer system, I love the Tripplett products. I would very much recommend them tovanyone.

Good so far.
I use this product to keep my StarLink and connected devices going. The AVR is activated often around here (the reason my old UPS failed). Since it is located in our living area, it would be nice if I could dim the display. Worked well when I shut off the power for an hour last week.

Great UPS for use with a generator
Over the years I have tried many different UPS units to work under a generator. This one works, and works well. I have r under active use. They last 3-4 years without issues

Solid UPS but a Rocky Start
I bought this UPS to protect and provide backup power for my home and work PCs. It was slightly damaged when it arrived and didn't work when I plugged it in, but I found the power lead was disconnected and it worked great after I got it put back together. The PowerAlert Home software says I have 0% battery and gave me 2 errors but the LCD display looks good. Support helped troubleshoot it and sent out a replacement but the replacement has 2 less outlets, no coax or ethernet protection, and doesn't look as good, but it has 900watts instead of 810 so I'll give it a shot. I trust this company and have used them for years with servers.

Solid build looks good
I have had one power blip since installing the USP. Work great. The unit is well built and the display has the information on it that I need. Very simple to use and replacing the batteries seem simple. I think I made the right choice. Also, I ended up contacting their service people by phone. It was a non-technical problem having to do with their account setup rejecting my PW without telling me why. The point is I was able to get to someone on their tech staff very quickly. That is a good sign if there is a problem I can actually speak to someone and get help.

Last appliance from another manufacturer died on me so I upgraded to this model given my positive experience in the past with Tripp Lites surge protection products. The appliance has decent build quality and the pure sine wave output is a major selling point.

These are great
I had one before and it worked fine for over 10 years. It still worked but couldn't handle big loads for more than a second but since it was old I decided to replace the whole thing. The new one works great right out of the box. It keeps a cable box, TV, and desktop computer running when the power goes out and I have plenty of time to close the computer apps and shutdown normally. I will get another for modem, NAS drives, and gaming computers.

Been using backup ups for many years. No issues with them. End of Life for some is right after warranty , while other last many years after. The only thing that could be change is the display, is that it stays on. This unit is in my computer room so not too much of a issue.

Solid Solution
My previous UPS died a couple of weeks ago and I purchased this as a replacement. The fact that it has a total of 10 outlets is a wonderful solution for my PC/dual monitor/speaker/other paraphernalia setup. It is as simple as plugging it into the wall outlet, turning it on, and plugging the devices into it. I appreciate the fact that it also allows owner battery replacement. This means that when the battery eventually gives out, the device's lifespan can be extended by ordering a new battery, and the Owner's Manual illustrates the steps to replace it at home quite plainly. This removes the hassle of looking for a new UPS, or shipping it back and forth with the manufacturer and paying high shipping fees. Great product, plenty of power, simple, and solid.

The OMNI 1500 LCDT I purchased 1.5 years ago has apparently failed. Plugging it into the wall socket will not light it up. No signs of it working. Is there a work around to get in back in working order? Has it in fact become a brick?

Excellent quality!
Purchased this product as a backup for when hurricane season hits Florida. Recently, Milton came by and we were without power for 3 days, however, the system took a hit and kept right on rolling. Excellent purchase and quality.
