Tripp Lite Protect It! Surge Protector, 3 AC Outlets/2 USB Ports, 540 J, Black

Unobtrusive surge protector that fits quite flat against the wall and provides me with just the right amount of outlets and some USB charger outlets too. The only issue is that I lose an outlet due to the protector covering both outlets. Small price to pay for the cost of the protector.

Great Plug for the price It has plenty of room on it, even has USB And also has the new style charger adapter also for the 15 iPhone, which I didn't expect to be there, but I was super happy that it's there can't beat the price. It's great will buy some more.

Great product and use of space. My only observation would be that the green light is very bright. A small LED or an option to turn off the green bar for some applications would be helpful like bedrooms.

Wires are off of the floor and organized.

I am very pleased with the adaptability of this product!!! I wanted for a cruise to Alaska, but find it very useful at home. I recommended to some friends.

Purchased this after reading excellent reviews online. Works great right out of the box.

I am using this to power up a flat-panel TV. So far I have not had a storm to test its capabilities, but its specs are good. Note that it no longer has a hole for a locking screw, but that is generally not needed. Depending on their plug size only two devices may fit as the outlet spacing is tight.

I believe Tripp Lite is the best surge protector around, not just not saying that, i believe it. I have 2 more, 4 outlet that take car for my battery tenders. Plus thank you for the quick service. Thank You! We will be buying more again!!

Small profile under the tv. Bought in Wirecutter recommendation. Appreciate knowing the protection is working however the "light bar" is much larger than it needs to be and bright.

This surge protector was a perfect solution for my needs. I was able to add surge protection plus an extract outlet for some electronics and also added two USB connection for charging peripherals. Like all Tripp-Lite products, the build quality of this surge protector is great. I would highly recommend this product.

This is an awesome product. It fits firmly to the outlet. The green light is not bright to disturb my sleep. It has enough outlets for all my important electronics.

We recently had a couple of high voltage episodes, the last of which fried my Aerogarden which had just sprouted tomatoes. I am using my new 3-Outlet Surge Protector to protect my new indoor garden, with transplanted tomato plants, and have the added benefit of USB chargers for my cell phone and tablets. New tomatoes are popping up again. Since I have my garden in the kitchen, I can also use the outlet for plugging in my hot tray without unplugging my garden.

I use this to protect my MacBook Air, which I leave plugged in. This surge protector is perfect - small and flat. It plugs right into the wall, and the LED light tells me the computer is protected.

Great device. Compact, easy to install and the USB outlets are a game changer. I just wish the plug outlets were a little further spaced apart as only small plugs can fit back-to-back; bigger plugs you can only fit 2 inside.

Purchased this surge protector to use with my wifes dialysis machine. So far all is well a very nice protector with a plus of having a couple of usb ports. She uses one to charge her phone and the other to charge her tablet. I read some reviews that stated the green led at the top was very bright and bothers some people, we have not found the light to be a problem for us, plainly its just not all that bright. Would purchase another if the need arises and the name Tripp Lite is synonymous with quality.

I bought this plug because I needed a new charger for my phone. This one has plenty of room to plug things, like an Echo power brick and a phone USB cord. Tripp Lite has a warranty, so it made me comfortable getting it for my expensive phone. There is a super bright green light letting you know that it is in good condition. If you need dark to sleep, this is not right for you. The first one I received made a buzzing noise when I plugged anything in. After contacting customer service, they sent me a replacement. The new one does not buzz when I use the regular outlet. It makes a buzzing sound if anything is plugged into the USB outlets. It sounds like a fluorescent light going bad. I am starting to think the buzzing is just a feature of this particular plug. None of the other Tripp Lite models I have make a buzzing noise.

Nice low profile, with multi outlets & USB. The green status light is a mixed blessing, not as bright as other similarly designed surge protectors but bright enough to be distracting in a home theater setup. But a small strip of electrical tape can cover nicely and matches the black body of the unit.

I like this because it's affordable and useful

Lasted about 2 months before diagnostic LED quit working. Still waiting on support to contact me.
