True Comfort by 1888 Mills Mill & Thread Waffle Comforter Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m was very excited to be gifted a Mill & Thread comforter set, however my enthusiasm quickly turned into disappointment upon receiving the comforter snd shams. The material was very scratchy and felt quite cheap, not even comfortable enough to use in our guest room. The fabric also is prone to holding wrinkles. It felt unpleasant against my skin and looked disheveled and tacky when added to my bed.

It looks gorgeous and classy on the bed, I love the waffle look and texture, and it is a pure, clean white. I will say that I sleep incredibly hot and this comforter isn't terribly breathable, but those of you who tend to stay cold or those who prefer more warmth during the colder months will fare very well with this!

I always love a clean white look. I think it makes any space look elegant, homely and modern. The comforter is medium in thickness and of really good quality. It made the room look really nice. I think it’s an easy wash so I don’t have to worry about stains. The pillow cases are light and can fit most any pillow in a queen size. This would fit any house and elevate a room to a cozy, chic, hotel vibe. I would recommend this set any day!

I have yet to dry it, hopefully it stands up because I really like it (even though it’s white 😬) overall, I am very pleased with this set and would purchase in a different color

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me say first of all that I’m very picky about my bedding. I worked hard to buy bedding that was made with natural/breathable materials so my body temperature would be regulated because I have a chronic illness and it’s a problem for me. When I received this bedding I had high expectations. When I read waffle comforter I was thinking of something with a lot of natural texture, like parachutes waffle material. The fabric feels practically flat. I don’t get waffle vibes from it at all. It’s also approximately half polyester on the front and back and 100% polyester fill which makes the quality feel awful. It’s not a breathable material at all and doesn’t feel quality to the touch. One thing to note is that it’s very lightweight, I would consider it a summertime comforter weight; however was sent to test during fall/winter. Due to materials I think it would be too hot in summer. Confusing, I know. Overall, my cat loves it and is super picky so that’s why I’m giving it three stars because sometimes I think I’m too picky lol. Any other normal person would probably be ok with it but yeah, those are my issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was expecting this to be fluffier than it was, but was pleasantly surprised that it was thinner and denser, which will make it nice for cooler temperatures. The waffle texture isn’t bad, was a little scratchy, but not enough to be annoying. Comes in a nice little travel/carry bag which makes it nice for storage and lugging around.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This comforter is truly white, it’s so crisp! The waffle print is subtle but adds a nice texture to the bed. It is fluffy and also thin at the same time, so it is not overly hot at night.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This would be great weight for spring and summer and fall. Thin but not too thin. I thought the presentation was great! I think the quality and comfort level is great. The quality gets a little knock of its points cuz the stuffing/fluff stuff was settling in the corners right out of the package. It had no separation stitching to keep it from not doing that. So I can definitely tell that after a little use and then a lot of use this will not look good cuz the stuff will all be stuck in the corners. It’s one of my pet peeves. I’d pay extra to have this not happen. I think if someone had this in like a spare room or guest room as a display type thing it would be better than a daily use item — the price of this online and the quality would make me want it for a guest room. It wasn’t soft but it wasn’t stiff. It wasn’t thick- can’t imagine being super warm. Definitely good just not great.

It is so soft right out of the bag. I'm sure it will continue to soften over many washes as well. It feels very high quality, and like it will hold it's integrity for a long time to come! In my photo, it’s wrinkly because I put it on my bed for a photo before washing but it’s very thick so perfect for winter. I was impressed with the quality. I did receive this as a promo.

Influenster sent me this, and I couldn’t be happier! The waffle pattern takes the simple white comforter and pillow shams up a notch to make it very elegant. While it is not as “plush” as the photo in the advertisement, it is definitely thick enough to keep you warm, but lightweight enough to use during the warmer months. I ended up sleeping in the guest room last week while my husband was sick, and I was so comfortable! I’m thinking about ordering one for our bedroom!
