TRULY Soft Serve After Shave Oil - 3.1oz - Ulta Beauty

I was so excited to receive a deluxe sample of this product in a recent Ulta free-with-purchase bag, as I have long wanted to try any Truly product but was intimidated by the cost and lack of travel sizes to test. I've used "dry oil" products before but was surprised at how quickly this soaked into the skin; it's certainly not greasy like typical oils can be, but in fact this absorbs so quickly into the skin that I didn't like the way it felt during application. There's no real slip: In smoothing several drops down my shin bone, the skin on my palm started to drag and tug at the skin on my leg, like there was no product there at all. Just minutes after applying to both legs, they felt the way my legs usually do without any product at all; in fact, it seemed a little drying. Tried this on my elbows and backs of my hands with the same effect. There are good slippery moisturizing oils in the ingredients so I'm honestly baffled. The scent is okay, not a must-have but not off-putting either; smells sugary and vaguely of generic candy floss, maybe with a hint of plastic scented Strawberry Shortcake doll. (Hey, IYKYK.)

It smells like hamster bedding.

No all the hipes that you hear from this company, the smell is a soft cotton candy smell oil base, mehhh…I was expecting something a little stronger, the smell goes away very quick. I purchased the big bottle and You honestly have to use very little to not waste the bottle in one use, not recommended for the amount you are spending. Cheaper products are better and 10x smell better

I received this as a sample and I'm in love! It's not as oily as I would like, but I'm atypical in this. Regardless, it smells so good and makes my skin feel soft

Yes, I too saw the videos and hype so I decided to get this one and the glass skin one (blue). Hands down the soft serve smells better. Its sweet but not overwhelming and lasts all day. I still smell myself after my 12 hr shift.

I love the scent of this very much, and it will linger on my body for an entire day after using it. Ive gotten into the habit of using this as more of a typical body oil than just shaving oil. Great 2-1 use! This has convinced me that I need to invest into more body oils as a larger women, this has helped boost my confidence and made me a girl who you can smell from across the room (in the best way possible)! I will say - my boyfriend says this makes me "smell like a baby" and I never connected before that its defintely the body oil that he thinks smells like a baby. It smells like a lovely Strawberry/Vanilla blend to me- but I do we the tad resemblence to the smell of "baby powder" - but I also enjoy that scent and dont mind it too much :)

I love the pink tint of this product/oil, a little bit goes a long way. I been using it for all over my body, to hydrate and smell good at all times and I can't recommend it enough. Read the reviews and noticed not everyone uses it for after shaving, and uses it as an oil to smell good, or to hydrate dry skin. I have really sensitive skin and this is great for it! My skin absorbs it so fast and does not leave it oily or anything. I will be buying again and again. It is one of those few products from Trulys that I am completely obsessed with. Big fan of anything with strawberry scents so that is a big plus for the purchase and my love for the product.
