4th build with ASUS + I have 2 AUSUS Laptops. I will spend the day with support. Everything looks great but I can't get BIOS to display on my monitor?
1 reply from CLM team - 9 days ago
Dear Capt J, Thank you for reaching out. If your system build will not boot up or no BIOS POST screen, you will typically do the following to resolve the issue. Please verify if the power supply unit, hardrive, RAM and CPU are compatible, installed correctly and are working properly. Check if the video cable is working and securely connected from the motherboards video out connector to the monitor. Additionally, check if the correct input source is selected from your monitor. If you need further assistance, please email me at cl-rodel@asus.com and I will be more than happy to help. Or, you are most welcome to call Product Support Hotline at: 1(888) 678-3688. Also, you can chat with an ASUS live support agent from the link: https://www.asus.com/us/support/article/1135/. Thank you for choosing an ASUS product. Regards, Rodel ASUS Customer Loyalty

I grabbed this board for my first AMD build. Everything went smoothly except for the RAM. I picked up.G.Skill 6400 RAM that caused severe instability. Their configurator doesn't have a RAM option at that speed for this board. I was able to get stability by turning it down to 6000. I don't know who to blame, AMD, ASUS, or G.Skill but the reviews for both the RAM and the board have to take a hit for the confusion. I've built several Intel systems and never had a similar issue. It could be luck, XMP vs Expo or DOCP or whatever AMD uses, motherboard manufacturers, or RAM manufactures. The BIOS was a bit overwhelming at first but I managed to get it sorted out for the most part. Stable and happy for about a month now and I don't expect that to change.
counter problem and hope last longer.

Bios update couldn’t be easier. Loaded with a 9900x and compatible memory first time. Great value considering it’s basically an x870e, which I also own for another PC.

Made this part of my new AM5 build based on my experince of the B550 plus wifi board that's been rock solid for the last 3 years. So far very happy, feels really solid and robust, easy to build with, has everything I needed and more. No issues with the new RAM, Processor or GPU seems very stable. All signs point to this being just a great a board as the last one.

Network card issues and over a minute to get a post after discovering these issues I found out that most 650 series Asus motherboards all have the same problems and Asus have a terrible RMA so stuck with this board and have to put up with it's problems Have had problems with Asus boards in the past but thought I would give them another chance bad move would not buy Asus again

It’s my 3rd tuf motherboard. I really like them for they look like and offered functionality. My main usage is lots of computation and not an overclocking. This one was a tough nut to get 96gb of ram working however at the end I was able to boot it and use it accordingly. WiFi is mediatec. Works great so far. Sound card quality is great. Really like it. PCI 5Gen is a bonus. Right now my 4070 Ti Super just enough for my needs but it’s only 4Gen. The bottom PCI x16 slot is positioned in a way that only 1 slot card can fit. Two GPUs are possible however keep in mind that it will be limited to 4 lanes only. Tried it with my 1660 super . But overall productivity may not be as good as it can be for dual x8 setup. Yet I’d buy it again and not the others similar to that mobo

The board itself is well constructed. The lack of detailed bios instructions in the manual was a big disappointment though. Why leave all that out?

Best value for price of you're building a higher tier PC. Some of the ports on motherboard aren't well placed but there's always one or two of those on any motherboard.
