Description
Tweezerman's Lash Guard & Comb enhances lash definition and mascara application. Precisely guides mascara application to prevent smudges and removes excess mascara for defined, separated, clump-free lashes.
1. Position your eye aligned with the tool opening. Apply mascara to top lashes by holding the top edge of the opening against the top eye lid and lash line. Position the bottom edge of opening aligned against lower lash line to apply mascara to lower lashes.
2. Apply mascara starting at base of lashes near guide edge and moving upward and out to end of lashes.
3. Using the comb edges on the top of the tool, glide the comb teeth through lashes while mascara is still wet to remove excess mascara.
4. Wipe clean to remove any excess mascara on guide.
Wipe clean with makeup remover or alcohol in between uses.

Great concept, but the tool needs to fit the curve of your eye perfectly to work. I think the plastic is a bit too thick, which makes it difficult to get down to the base of your lashes. It also basically only works for the center lashes of the top eye, as it doesn't flex for the outer and inner lashes. As for using it on the bottom lashes, don't even bother. Overall, I find it takes much too long to use. Will return and go back to just wiping errant mascara away with a q-tip.

This review was collected as part of a promotion. This is a great tool for people with long lashes like me. Sometimes I end up with mascara all over my eyelid and this has helped. It did take a bit for me to get used to, but once I got the hang of it, I was good to go!

My daughter and I just got these!! I always get super frustrated after doing my eyes so “perfect” and then messing up with a huge mascara blotch that I didn’t mean to get on my eye(my daughter is learning make up so this helps avoid my many years of torture) but this is perfect to get every lash without messing up your make up! Top lashes and bottom!! Helps with those mascaras that are ones to build with, you apply multiple players and such!

I think that it might be nice for special occasions but otherwise would not bring with me to travel on a daily basis. Would be great to find a way to incorporate something like this into the mascara wand

It’s definitely easier to use in my dominant hand. Overall, I think the product would be best for those with hooded eyes to prevent smudging. I did not think the comb feature was great for separating lashes and felt it moreso just took a lot of product with it.

It does prevent mascara from getting on your skin while applying it as long as you're careful. I didn't notice any combing effect. The bulky design also made it difficult to do in a timely manner but maybe after using it often that will improve.
