Not very functional
I wanted to love this laptop stand, but unfortunately it doesn't meet the expectations of it's basic functionality. The first limitation to note is that the laptop will only raise up and down, but does not tilt. The larger issue is the charging pad does not function properly. Even when you remove the case from your iPhone (which should not be necessary) the iPhone rarely connects with the MagSafe charger placed beneath the leather design. When a connection is occasionally made, the charging is slow and will not advance beyond a certain percentage level. Which isn't the case if you connect the charger to the iPhone directly as Apple intended. The TwelveSouth concept of adding your own charger is outdated, and this product would be signifigantly improved with a built in charger capability.

Too Short and Wobbly
This seemed like a good idea at the time, but once I received it the limitations were clear. Although the bo it comes in is nice (they must have taken a cue from Apple), the product itself isn't what I expected.It's too short to be useful and the stand is wobbly. Its not what I expected when there are other, less expensive, options available that do the job.

Wobbly
The look as are cool and I am not too bothered about the not so smooth height adjustments you can make . But it is wobbly when fully extended. The craftsmanship on the device is not good and hence the quality of the stand is mediocre. The packaging is quite good, but what’s the point? It’s the stand that counts

Looks great but there are some drawbacks
The stand is nicely designed and looks great on a desk. I wish the height adjusted just a bit higher than it does. It's a little limited in the range of height adjustment and I have to move my chair to a lower level to align with the camera for a video sessions because I can't move the laptop quite as high as the stack of books I was using previously. ;-) I also find the charger extremely finicky. Even if I remove my case (which works fine with another wireless charger I have) the phone does not always make connection with the MagSafe charger. I don't know if the material on the base that covers the charger is too thick or if there is some other issue. I have an iPhone 14 Pro and it takes many tries to get it to connect to the charger.

Nice MacBook Pro stand
Works as advertised and it is a decent laptop stand. The adjustment is harder than I had expected -- to get the height just right. And the Magsafe slot works, but doesn't allow for as easy charging as I had hoped.

Twelve south not what it used to be
Product is fine. Its a little rickety and cheap feeling. Twelve south products from my past were uber engineered solid state and precise. The post in this hirise is spring loaded and when tightened likes to tighten to one side or the other. Meh.

I like the design & intention, it’s clunky when adjusting for height (it has a spring inside for adjustment) it’s to wonky going up down & in between. To hold in place it’s a screw so that damages the neck it looks cheap also it was scratch. For the price don’t get it, if the neck was a smooth adjustable up & down transition plus no scratches or scuffs. When the charging cable goes through the Chanel it pinches the cable too hard so eventually it will damages it. A more smooth hold will work way better, I filled it down to a smooth & snug hold, besides all that do what you want. It looks cool.

Simple perfection
Twelve South makes some of the highest quality products of their kind. This particular product isn’t nearly as heavy as many of their products that I have purchased in the past. At first I thought perhaps they had lowered their quality standard, but after using it for a couple of weeks, I find it much more convenient to use because of the lighter weight construction. A simple piece of equipment that does precisely what it was designed to do.

When I put my 16” laptop on one side was almost 1/2” higher that the other. Rather than automatically returning the stand I applied pressure to the high side to have equal heights. Even before doing this the lift mechanism was very squeaky...concern around this

First disappointing experience
The stand is wobbly and there were lots of scratches and scuffs out of the box that made the product feel like it had been used. I have been purchasing and loving twelve south products for years but this is the first one I would say to avoid.

Stylish But Unstable
2021 MacBook Pro 16" The "V" shaped design of the platform is attractive. However, the "V" shaped platform is lower on the right side than the left. That, combined with the narrow back of the "V" makes the MacBook unstable, particularly if any pressure is applied to the rear corners. Also, the base is so short from front to back that the iPhone is largely invisible on the MagSafe Charger when the MacBook is in place. Also, I would like to be able to adjust the "tilt" of the platform so that the front of the keyboard is lower on the table that I use for me office.

The design and usability look good.
Airpods are charging well, too.However, in the case of the iPhone 14 Pro model, charging recognition is whether it is a camera lens size problem or a genuine smartphone leather case problem. It doesn't work well. You have to adjust the position really finely and raise it. This part looks like it needs to be improved.And I don't know if it's a problem with the delivery process,A scratch-damaged product has arrived, I don't think I can help it because it's a problem caused by the special nature of overseas delivery.
