If I could give this bed a negative I would. As soon as we put together it was super flimsy and shaky but my daughter really liked it so we decided to give a try. The metal that the shelves screw into was bent in 2 places and the two MAJOR support bars (that hold all the cross poles where the mattress sits) completely bowed after like 2 weeks if it being up! My daughter does not even weigh 100lbs!! I had to take the whole things apart to return it. Do not bother with this bed!! There were a few other things like the nuts pushing through the metal into the bars and it was scary how lose some of the screws were when I took then bed apart…and I know they were tightened!! That’s my kiddo up there there was no way to wasn’t go to make sure everything was tightened!
