The metal hooks are hammered into the wall, and the board hangs with keyhole cutouts that allow it to mount vertically or horizontally. Hope that helps!

Q: How thick is the cork?? Not the thickness of the cork and backing combinded, but of the cork only? (Most are between 1/4-1/2" thick cork. Some are 1/3" thick.)
