I find that I have to use the Ultra variety and a pad at times, and I typically avoid anything less. I tried these and was surprised how easy they were to insert with the plastic grip applicator. I find them to absorb much especially on heavier flow days, I go through about 2-3 a day on those days. The applicator is simple with just pulling it until you hear a click, then pushing the applicator up. I have a very heavy flow so I layer these with a pad but for someone with a light flow I think just using these would be fine.

She plays flag football, softball, and lifts weights, and she found the tampons uncomfortable to wear and insert. They did provide good coverage with no leakage, which was a plus, and their small, discreet size makes them easy to carry. However, overall comfort was lacking, especially during physical activity. We won’t be purchasing this brand again, though a close friend of hers really likes them.
