  • A: Thank you for your interest in Cora and all that we're doing to improve women's health globally. Currently, our applicators are made of a bioplastic material. We're working on introducing a more biodegradable option this year. We also have applicator free options available :)

  • A: STOP BEING ABLIST IN YOUR ANSWERS! Cora tampons are one of the ONLY disability friendly tampons on the market, and it is BECAUSE of their applicator style. We NEED that defined ridge at the end of the applicator to be able to grip it to insert/remove the applicator. Your eco-screaming is making disabled people's lives so unnecessarily hard. We have periods too.

  • A: Hi Lija, our tampon manufacturing has moved to China, though some older product from a previous supplier may still be in circulation at retail locations. The country of origin is printed on every box. Hope this helps!

Q: What do you recommend? My local store only sells, by regular and light tampons or regular and super tampons. My flow is only sometimes heavy, is a regular tampon from this brand enough for a heavy flow?

If I could give a less then 1 star review I would. Maybe the package of my product was old. But these are the worst tampons I have EVER used. I would say about half or more of them just didn’t work (push out). I took my time with the them and they just didn’t push out. I am so disappointed that I want my money back. So yeah that’s what I have to say about them. Unfortunately I have used these in the past and they were fine, but this time NO. I will never buy them again. So I know how they work. I have used them multiple times in the past but WHY WAS THIS WHOLE PACKAGE DEFECTED???? Never again!

Horrible applicator

This applicator SUCKS. Every time you go to insert, the clicking mechanism collapses. I’ve gone through so many that had to be thrown out instead of used due to the applicator malfunction.

Super comfortable!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time using Cora period products. The Comfort Fit Tampon really lives up to its name. It is so comfortable, you dont even feel it! They move with your body and I did not experience any leaks. I like that the applicator has a pull to extend plunger. It makes the size very discreet to carry around. These are also made of 100% organic cotton, and free of fragrance, chlorine, and rayon. The applicator is also BPA free. I have always used tampons but never exclusively due to the TSS risk and exposure to chemicals. Knowing they are made without those chemicals makes me feel better about using them since they are often inside our bodies for nearly 8 hours at a time. As a company, I like that they have a 100% happiness guarantee and that they provide period products to those in need. I dont know any other company that does that. I also appreciate the design of their packaging. Its very modern and doesnt scream tampons like other brands do.

They are easily applied and easy to remove, and feel comfortable while wearing, all wins in my book! They hold up well and don’t leak. I also love that they are organic and all cotton. The price was the only reason I removed a star, as it is more expensive than others on the market while offering the same value.

This brand really gives you the peace of mind needed when all the other brands these days are made full of whatever toxic chemicals. Not to mention they work amazingly. They are well designed, small and convenient portable packaging to keep with you. Very comfortable as well. Ive also seen people mention that choosing a more natural option can help lessen PMS symptoms. Love that there’s unscented. This one’s for all the ladies who care about their bodily health. Good clean product.

The package is very compact and discreet. Very easy to carry around in a purse. I did notice that the product doesn't absorb as well as some others which may cause leaking.

Why change it?

If I could give these zero stars, I would. They used to be my favorite until they changed the applicator. I make sure it is clicked open properly and they still fail. The applicator is straight up worthless! It’s so sad that they changed the design because they were great before. Time to find a new brand

Discrete but don’t last long

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These were not my favorite. I will say they have a very compact and discrete package, which is nice for nights out. Once they’re in, it’s comfortable and the organic material is nice. On the flip side, it took wasting 3 tampons and a broken nail to figure out the applicator. It’s a very weird setup. They’re also very small so they only last a few hours. I wore 4-5 per day whereas I could get through a workday with 1-2 with other brands. Overall, I probably wouldn’t use them on the regular but would probably buy them for special occasions when I need a small package to fit in a clutch.

Discreet and comfy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been a long time wearer of Playtex Sport. I’ve tried various tampon brands and even cups. NOTHING feels comfortable. After the reports came out regarding lead and arsenic exposure in our feminine products, I was on the search for something safer. I was apprehensive about trying something new, but surprisingly, CORA is extremely comfy and easy to insert. I love that it’s also more compact than a standard tampon. I will say absorbency wise, it doesn’t have that 360 protection like Playtex, but if it’s a little safer for my nether regions I’d rather use CORA. Overall, I think I would buy CORA products again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love love LOVE organic tampons and it's so compact the I can put one in my *jeans* pocket (iykyk lol) and it'll stay discreet 😅 the applicator grip is shaped perfectly to mold to your hand and makes use much easier than other brands I've tried
