Q: Is the applicator plastic?

  • A: STOP BEING ABLIST IN YOUR ANSWERS! Cora tampons are one of the ONLY disability friendly tampons on the market, and it is BECAUSE of their applicator style. We NEED that defined ridge at the end of the applicator to be able to grip it to insert/remove the applicator. Your eco-screaming is making disabled people's lives so unnecessarily hard. We have periods too.

  • A: Hi Lija, our tampon manufacturing has moved to China, though some older product from a previous supplier may still be in circulation at retail locations. The country of origin is printed on every box. Hope this helps!

The new applicators work 50% of the time. The last few boxes I've had have been this new applicator and I've had to throw so many tampons away. BEYOND disappointing.

Doesn’t Work Well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off I want to say that I’ve been using tampons for decades. I was excited to try these. However, the proved less than desirable. It toon 3 tries to get one to even stay inside. Once it was in, it did feel comfortable but when I tried to change it out, again it didn’t want to stay and took multiple tries. The packaging is cute and discreet which I liked. But I won’t be buying these unfortunately.

Hard to use applicator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a fan of the Cora 100% Organic Cotton Applicator Tampons - Regular 16ct. I am thankful to have had the opportunity to try this product out but it did not work well for me and I cannot see myself purchasing it. I liked that they are 100% organic cotton- that's great! I didn't notice any scent, which was also nice What I didn't like was unfortunately central to how the product is used. I found the applicator difficult to use in general. The stick that inserts the product was very hard to use. It also did not extend very far, which left the tampon not in far enough. I wasted 3 before I finally used one properly. And even then, it felt like it was uncomfortably shifting around. Wasting 3 products when you only get 16 in a box is definitely a bummer. I also found that the cotton shed quite a bit, which was worrisome. Overall, I would not recommend this product. It is not easy to use. If there were design changes made to the applicator, I could see myself trying it again someday.

Doesn't work

This doesn’t work. It only pushes out of the applicator 1 to 2 inches and then gets stuck in the applicator. Truly a waste of money. I wanted to switch to a cleaner brand but I will try something else instead.

Love that it comes with regular & super in one box!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used this for two cycles now and I really love that this specific box comes with two flow tampons (regular and super). It’s so convenient that I don’t have to buy 2 different boxes. Use wise, each packet comes with a very easy tear to open use and an easy click to push applicator method. I didn’t have any comfort when using these and also the pull out didn’t hurt as other tampons I’ve used before where you can really feel the cotton. I also love the colors too and like to put it in these clear bins (from Target) in the bathroom for myself and guests to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect tampon for traveling or to throw in your bag! The compact size is really convenient. I thought it was very comfortable to wear and I didn’t even notice it. I do think the only thing that was annoying was the packaging. The plastic wrap tore the way it was supposed to probably less than 50% of the time and usually I was struggling to rip it. Overall I would still really recommend these tampons

New APPLICATOR is AWFUL

I used to love these tampons. They recently changed their applicator that it is in two pieces that are supposed to lock together. I have used about half the box at this point and NOT A SINGLE ONE STAYS TOGETHER. I might as well be inserting them with my fingers at this point.

New applicator is horrible. My daughters and I have loved this brand for so many years. The new applicators don’t work half of the time which is extremely frustrating and wasteful. We will be searching for a new brand unless they fix the new applicator.
