Q: Is the applicator plastic?

  • A: Thank you for your interest in Cora and all that we're doing to improve women's health globally. Currently, our applicators are made of a bioplastic material. We're working on introducing a more biodegradable option this year. We also have applicator free options available :)

  • A: This is a shame (and a sham) that this brand is trying to advertise that they are a healthier alternative- but they are still using PLASTIC! Plastic will take centuries to biodegrade- use cardboard!

  • A: STOP BEING ABLIST IN YOUR ANSWERS! Cora tampons are one of the ONLY disability friendly tampons on the market, and it is BECAUSE of their applicator style. We NEED that defined ridge at the end of the applicator to be able to grip it to insert/remove the applicator. Your eco-screaming is making disabled people's lives so unnecessarily hard. We have periods too.

  • A: Hi Lija, our tampon manufacturing has moved to China, though some older product from a previous supplier may still be in circulation at retail locations. The country of origin is printed on every box. Hope this helps!

Q: What do you recommend? My local store only sells, by regular and light tampons or regular and super tampons. My flow is only sometimes heavy, is a regular tampon from this brand enough for a heavy flow?

NEW APPLICATOR IS A NO.

I have been a loyal Cora customer for 4 years. I absolutely HATE the new applicators!! They hurt !! And it does not even work when pushing the tampon in. I had to try like 4 times to finally get one in. I had to return the rest and get a refund. I’m so sad about this. Cora please switch back or improve the applicator !!!

Horrible "Upgrade"

The new applicator is AWFUL. These were my favorite tampons for a few years but now I have to find a new brand. The applicator collapses, and it pinches. Makes me so sad bc I loved this brand!

Great peace of mind!

There’s a lot of hype and such of the bad materials in tampons these days, and it’s great peace of mind to know that these are cotton. Worth the price to avoid scary chemicals where you definitely don’t want them! Applicator works great, and they feel comfortable and do not leak. I totally recommend these!

Compact, easy to use

The wrap was so easy to open because it has dotted lines. Super small and easy to store in a small purse. Fragrance free as promised and didn’t irritate me at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I like about the Cora Tampons first is that they are compact and fit nice in a small clutch bag! These are comfortable to wear, easy to insert, and provide reliable protection without feeling uncomfortable. I also appreciate that they're in a easy open packaging and not with a sticky pull tab. The absorbency is great no leaks for me. These are a great everyday option and great that they are all natural is a definite plus for me.

I really love the size of the actual tampons – they’re perfect for fitting into a clutch purse or for traveling. The pearl applicator felt smooth and made insertion very comfortable and easy. I really love that it’s made with 100% organic cotton as well. They absorb very nicely, and they do not feel bulky or uncomfortable. These are great for everyday use, and I did not experience any leaks whatsoever. Overall, these are really high-quality tampons and I’d recommend giving them a try.

Clean feminine care product that’s comfortable and reliable

I like that their products are made from 100% organic cotton and free of all the harsh chemicals. These cotton tampons are soft and comfortable, you hardly know they are there. The regular size fits and works great for my enter flow.

I used these on day 2, my heaviest day and wow! These passed the test! The slim design fit comfortably, and even after a few hours I had no leakage! These are amazing tampons and I would definitely choose these over my current organic brand! Highly recommend!

The applicator does not work at all. It never pushes the tampon through. And when opening the tampon wrapper u get black dye on ur fingers from the wrapper.

Perfect for comfort and Peace of Mind!
