  • A: Our applicator tampons have a BPA-free polyethylene applicator. They aren’t biodegradable, but they can be recycled where facilities accept this type of plastic. Hope this helps!

new applicator = garbage

I used to love this brand.....THEN....they changed the applicator and the product is complete trash. There is no 'pop', instead the applicator breaks into 2 pieces. I waste so many 'pons. I will not buy again until they fix this problem.

It’s safe and secure

Compact but applicator fails

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would really love these tampons except for the fact that the applicator only stays extended about half of the time. I love that the tampon itself is 100 percent cotton and is free of dyes. I have never had a leak with these and the box I received had two different sizes depending on your flow. They are also super compact and easy to fit into a little purse or even a pocket.

I have been using Cora tampons for a few years now, and while they are extremely comfortable, they need to figure out an applicator design that actually works. It is frustrating that the applicators are often defective and useless. I will probably try something else until I hear that they have resolved this issue. If I wanted a tampon without an applicator I would just buy OBs.

You have to pull it out and hear it click. Other than that I appreciate the 100% organic cotton and the value as well.

Agree with the other reviews regarding the new applicator. The applicator piece that pushes the tampon out and up is not long enough to do its job. A whole box wasted. Cora, please test your products thoroughly before selling to the general public.

Great organic cotton tampon

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging is feminine and stylish. The tampon itself is wrapped in paper to eliminate plastic waste. They easily fit in your pockets or small bag for easy, convenient carrying. The applicator is a basic pull to click then insert design. They absorb very well and are marked according to flow. I’ve had no discomfort or irritation while using Cora tampons. After seeing all the issues with tampon products lately it is nice to have a safe, organic option that works well.

I don't feel comfortable putting my trust in these. They look pretty but they are not my first choice nor what I would want to use in an emergency.

Worst applicator ever invented.

Everything was fine until you made a fancy new applicator. It works properly about 40% of the time. Now there’s blood on my arm and the little piece of plastic floating in the toilet which I have to fish out with the toilet brush, resulting in toilet paper stuck in the bristles. Please go back to the old applicator.

Best tampons I’ve found

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just finished my box, and believe me I will be buying another one immediately. These have been some of my favorite tampons I’ve tried yet. They’re super light weight and don’t feel like anything. They’re also super reliable at lasting a long time with great absorption. I never have to worry about blood leaking while wearing these. Very comfortable even for working out or just day-to-day life.
