Q: Are these biodegradable and what is the applicator made of?

A: Our applicator tampons have a BPA-free polyethylene applicator. They aren’t biodegradable, but they can be recycled where facilities accept this type of plastic. Hope this helps!

Previous 'organic' tampons caused my daughter headaches. She didn't recognize this until I bought this brand one time, and then she noted that she didn't get headaches. This was verified when she tried the other brand again and then went back to these. These don't cause her any issues, so we'll continue to buy them.

Loved them till the applicator & string problem . Applicator is just horribly designed/made somehow and the string FALLS OFF SO PLS BE CAREFUL. It was a horrible experience to see you’ve inserted a tampon and the STRING WAS NOT PROPERLY ATTACHED TO IT . Could have been an expensive hospital visit so pls beware ladies

The applicator is awful! It gets stuck and the tampon does sit in the right spot making it extremely uncomfortable.

These applicators SUCK! The tampon always comes out with the applicator when trying to insert and when the tampon manages to escape the applicator it doesn’t sit in the right spot, extremely uncomfortable. I’ve had to throw away so many because they never stay in the right place or they don’t insert to begin with. Not worth the money.

Obviously, we like the organic cotton. Knowing what goes in our bodies is great. However…the applicators are not inserter friendly. They also kind of get stuck in the applicator so you don’t feel like they’re in the right place. This left me feeling uncomfortable. I’ll happily pay the price for a good product. Working on the applicators and I’ll buy again.

Then you will know that the applicator is ready. We have a video here that illustrates how to use it: http://bit.ly/coracompactapp Also, if you are having issues with the tampons fully expelling, make sure that you are pushing the inner tube all the way up into the outer tube until the bottom of both tubes are touching. Hope this helps!

I am one to never write reviews, but always reads them. I almost did not buy these because the reviews were iffy. I am so glad I did not listen to them and gave them a try! Favorite tampons hands down for comfort and the applicator is great! The reviews said they weren’t but for me, I found them durable and I like how small and compact they are.

I've been using these for months now and noticed towards the end of every period I start to get EXTREMELY itchy and inflammed. I thought these were 100% organic cotton, however, the string in coated in Paraffin, which "is a waxy, flammable substance derived from petroleum, coal, or oil shale." Like why can't women have a 100% healthy option?

The idea of these being cotton and more natural product is what drew me to the Cora products. Unfortunately their applicator is very difficult to use and seems to be a waste of money in my opinion. Out of trying 7 different tampons, only 2 of them actually dispensed properly. I have used many tampons in my lifetime but never had this much trouble with the actual applicator ejecting the tampon. Personally love the idea of the company and the absorbency and comfortability when wearing the tampon was good, but won’t be returning to use these until they come up with a new system that is more efficient and cost effective.

When they say invisi-application they mean it. All other tampons are scratchy upon insertion, and no matter how much you do it right, you can still feel them. You don't have to get into a weird leg up position to put these in either. Just lean forward and go. Thanks cora! I am a lifetime customer from now on. Even the string is cotton unlike the ones in the clear tub. I think its called L brand.

The applicator is difficult to use. I also had a piece of one work it's way out of me a day or two after use. I won't be using these again. I was looking forward to not having chemicals but I'll be going back to what I've always used. I've lived this long without a problem so I'm sure I'll live.
