This electronic repeller combines both sonic and ultrasonic sound waves to disrupt pest communication, feeding habits, and habitat. Since the pests are not able to adapt to the constantly changing signals emitted by the device, they are forced away from the unit. Good product!
So far...so good. We had a mouse problem. We bought 2 of the transonic pro devices. One for the house and one for the detached garage. No mice. Even took care of the spiders in the garage.
Use them on the "quite" setting.

Solid construction, will not deter bats or squirrels
Although I had serious doubts whether this would deter bats, nothing else I tried would work either. As a last resort I purchased the Bird-X Transonic Pro, and installed it about 8 feet from the bat's perch, pointing directly at the perch. The bat was there at the time. Nothing happened, so I increased volume, which becomes very annoying. Still the bat did not react. The next day, the bat returned to its perch seemingly unaffected by this device. While the device seems to be solidly built and to operate properly, it does not deter bats in any way. Unfortunately, before returning the device, a squirrel chewed the power cord in two. It appears that it does not repel squirrels either.

too loud
Don't get this if you plan on using it indoors. It's just too loud. It drove me crazy. I'll have to return this.
