A sus diez años, Diana, una niña amante del skate, toma la decisión más importante de su vida: no volverá a pararse en dos pies y sólo se moverá con ayuda de una silla de ruedas; está cansada de ser muy alta y no poder disfrutar de los privilegios de los que gozan "los chiquitos". La decisión provoca una revolución. Su mamá quiere castigarla, mientras que su padre, como buen psicólogo, prefiere usar métodos más modernos y le propone una apuesta aparentemente sencilla a la niña: si logra pasar una semana entera en la silla, no sólo podrá permanecer ahí, también obtendrá el perro que tanto quiere. Pero como bien dicen, las cosas sencillas son las que más trabajo cuestan, y más cuando Diana se convierta en el centro de atención y sólo tenga un aliado, un futuro director de cine que quiere documentar todo "por la ciencia".

At the age of ten, Diana, a skateboard-loving girl, makes the most important decision of her life: she will no longer stand on her two feet and will only move with the help of a wheelchair; she is tired of being too tall and not being able to enjoy the privileges enjoyed by "the little ones." The decision causes an upheaval. Her mom wants to punish her, while her father, a good psychologist, prefers to use more modern methods and proposes a seemingly simple bet to the girl: if she can spend an entire week in the chair, not only can she stay there, but she will also get the dog she so desires. But as they say, simple things are the hardest ones, especially when Diana becomes the center of attention and only has one ally left, a future film director who wants to document everything "for science's sake."

About the Author

Soffi P. Guido nació en la Ciudad de México en 1992. Es licenciada en Literatura Dramática y Teatro por la UNAM y es egresada del Diplomado en Creación Literaria de la Sogem y de la Escuela de Iniciación Artística núm. 1 del INBAL, donde actualmente imparte clases.

Samantha Martínez, más conocida como Sam, es una ilustradora y animadora digital procedente de México, que está especializada en dar vida a fantásticas figuras a través de sus diseños. Estudió animación digital 3D para videojuegos, pero fue cuando finalizó la carrera que descubrió su pasión por la ilustración y el diseño de personajes, por lo que comenzó a dedicarse a ello al 100%.

Su trabajo se enfoca en temas relacionados con la fantasía y lo cómico, propio del estilo de la caricatura. Dibujar personajes a partir de la imaginación es lo que le ha permitido crear contenidos audiovisuales para diferentes agencias o realizar las ilustraciones del libro El Club de las Niñas Fantasma, de la editorial Alfaguara.
