Uncle Bud's Hemp Sunscreen Lotion - SPF 50 - 6oz

I love this product....ever year I burn using something wit Zinc oxide even if I go to the coast I burn bad....the Uncle Buds sunscreen has worked great for me and helped my skin to absorb Vitamin D and get a natural color that I have been lacking for a long time...I highly recommend this product....and love it

Smells decent, however the list of ingredients that can be found online doesn't list ALL the ingredients. Uncle Bud's website doesn't even list all the ingredients. This sunscreen contains Avobenzone, Homosalate, Octocrylene, Octisalate, and Oxybenzone. I eagerly awaited for the sunscreen to arrive, didn't think twice about looking at the back of the tube for ingredient listing, considering I did my research online prior to purchasing, opened the sunscreen, used it on our daughter, gave our daughter a bath only to wonder why our tub had orange sunscreen along the side of the tub. Later I looked at the back of the tube of sunscreen to find that it contains two staining ingredients: Avobenzone and Oxybenzone. I am so irritated that I opened and used this sunscreen. I also saw later that Target individually lists out active ingredients, which I didn't initially notice due to the way they wrote them out, however Target still doesn't list all active ingredients. What a total waste of money.

All the 5-star reviews made me get this product. As a woman of color, i’m always on the search for high SPF sunscreen that leaves no white cast. While it delivers on that aspect, it makes my skin so shiny, I feel self-conscious. It does have a fragrance. Not highly pungent as some of the others available, but it is noticeable. The biggest factor for me, however, is that it makes the eyes sting like crazy. After one hour wear, with no application near the eyes, I had to use wipes to take everything off. My eyes stung and teared up quite a bit. Thus, I am unfortunately returning this item. :(

While the label states"oil" there is nothing runny or greasy about this product. Product is a cream . It does not leave a greasy film or residue AND it absorbs within moments of the application. Any excess washes off easily. As an added bonus the ingredient Canatrex is helpful for the skin along with the other natural ingredients that keep the skin moisturized. Furthermore, after showering my skin did not feel tight or itchy and best of all it didn't have that "sunscreen" smell. I liked the added care that was put into the packaging. Unlike most sunscreens this product comes sealed with a removal foil disk and the bottle has a flip top dispenser. Lastly,the bottle has instructions that are easy to read, provides helpful recommendation of when to apply and reapply and how to protect yourself from the harmful effects of the sun. I would highly recommend purchasing this sunscreen. I have a skin issue called vitiligo. So i must use the best sunblock or i end up with sun poison. With uncle bud's hemp sunscreen it protects me from the sun waves. I love that the uncles bud's hemp sunscreen is safe and natural. It has a amazing smell, so it don't stink.The sunscreen is very easy to rub in to your skin, quick absorbing, its not a heavy greasy feeling. After apply it to the skin,with end a few minutes it drys and it don't feel all oily and wet. This sunscreen is high in vitamins A, D & E, which is great for your skin out in the sun. I have been looking for natural sunscreen products for my skin since I have sensitive skin and I’m glad I chose this lotion with pure hemp seed oil. I tried this product and haven’t had any issues with sensitivity. It absorbs quickly and makes my skin feel soft. It’s non greasy and moisturized my skin as well. I applied it 15 minutes before working outside and my sensitive skin did not burn!! I also like that it doesn’t have a strong smell, it is a light refreshing scent that dissipates after a few minutes. I will be using this product to protect my skin from harmful UVA/UVB rays, so I can enjoy being in the sunshine more. My son got a burn while golfing, so I told him to try this stuff. He said it helped take some of the sting out. Used it on his next golf trip and says it helped keep from burning over his burn. It goes on feeling oily, so I was worried about that all day oily feeling until you wash your hands. But the oil feel disappeared within minutes. I will be purchasing this again. Highly recommend purchasing this sunscreen. Has a good smell, very non-typical sunscreen scent which I enjoy. This is very easy to use, quick absorbing, its not a heavy/greasy sunscreen more like a lotion. Don't notice a sticky feeling like most typical sunscreens after application.
