A: Hello Diana, The fringe is not included in the specs, and is usually 1 1/2" to 2". It's tied directly to the foundation so it's not recommended to cut since it can begin to unravel the rug completely over time. We suggest rolling it under and taping it to the backside if not favored. Note, any modification to the rug voids the limited manufacturer's warranty.

Sheds uncontrollably
Ive owned this rug for three years. If you have hard wood floors i would STRONGLY urge against it. This material sheds CONSTANTLY and does not stop we have had it for three years and it STILL sheds horrendously if you buy this, expect your house to look like you bought a husky bc theres gonna be "fur" everywhere

Very nice rug for the price
The rug is very nice quality, it looks exactly like the picture depicted in the description. The yellow undertone in the stripes works well with brown leather furniture or wood trim. The rug came nicely packaged and with the pad included with purchase. The tassels are a nice decorative finish.

Based on the first real photo of this rug, I'm very interested. I'd like to see how it looks in different settings but the edit job looks like something my 8 year old nephew threw together and isnt at all helpful.

Thick and high quality
Beautiful rug - much thicker than I expected. We received the navy (when we ordered charcoal) so I have yet to see the charcoal in real-life, but the navy is very pretty. It's a coarse/slightly wirey texture. Overall very pretty.

Shipped quickly, in good condition, pretty and cool design. I did find it under 'medium pile' and mostly it's fairly thin linen material. It's not soft, so I wouldn't use it in a bedroom or play space, but looks good and came in good condition.

Beautiful, adds a lot to the room!! Definitely requires the thicker rug pad underneath for comfort. Slightly more fibrous than I anticipated - definitely got a rash taking it out of the packaging, but vacuumed it a few times and seems to be doing better. I am hopeful that won't be an issue long-term, as I have only just gotten it. The only rugs I've ever had an issue like that with have been jute rugs, so honestly I was really surprised and somewhat disappointed. Still, is a very nice rug.

Look and feel of a highpriced rug
this was my third attempt to find the perfect rug for my spare bedroom. This nailed it! Love the high/low design. very soft and comfortable on your feet. More muted colors which accompanied the design of the room without overpowering it. Very satisfied.

Great rug, great deal!
I only recently discovered Rugs.com but have now bought two amazing, all-wool area rugs for my new home (this one and a huge 10 x 13 other one), for what feels like an incredible price. This rug is a beautiful addition to my bedroom (pairs well with a queen bed in more muted tones). Its definitely a little sheddy initially (like all 100% wool rugs go), but only a few weeks in and a few vacuums later, it's stabilized on that front now. The texture is cool, with fluffy rows pairing with flat-weave. Thankfully, my bedframe sat naturally in the flat-weave sections, but if that had been a mis-match I might have had to return it. Just something to be aware of!

This is a really beautiful rug!! Great price and even more importantly, great quality!!! When measuring your space for this rug, keep in mind the fringe adds about 1.5ft.
