I so badly wanted to love this dress. It's so cute and nostalgic, but the sizing is atrocious. I first purchased the L/10-12 as I'm typically a size 10, but the bodice has no give and I could not get the zipper to touch let alone even begin to close. I exchanged the dress for an XL/14 and now the bodice is so large it is hanging off of me. Without drastic alterations, it is unwearable. I am so sad as I had great plans for wearing this dress.

Peaches & Cream Barbie was one of my all time favorites as a kid so when I saw this dress appear, and go on sale, i had to try it! Unfortunately, the fabric was rather disappointing, especially the straps of the dress. I was planning on doing some embellishments to it to make it look more like the original Barbie but once I received it, I realized it would be more work than I was up for. I have scored so many cute pieces at Unique Vintage but this one was not up to par.

This dress was gorgeous except that the sparkly layer of the bodice wasn’t tailored or even tacked down, resulting in ugly poochy bunching everywhere there shouldn’t be pooching or bunching. It’s a shame because it was lovely and fit really nicely, but it made me look like a sack of potatoes. Also minus points for the big ugly zipper. Suuuuuuuuper disappointed. I was SO EXCITED about this dress, and it was totally unwearable.

Beautifully made, all the right colours! Also comfortable and fits well - there is no give (at all!) in the bodice so I had to size up - just don't forget matching Barbie shoes like I did!

I had to size up, the bodice didn’t fit over my DD boobs. Beautiful dress. The peach fabric is thinner than I thought, and Was slightly see through. The zipper was fine, and you’re able to do it alone. The straps are adjustable, but I found them adjusting on their own a little, causing the strap to fall down my arm.

Peaches and Cream Barbie was my favorite as a kid. When I saw this dress, I had to have it. It is absolutely perfect and I can’t wait to wear it. I went off the size chart, but it was still a tad small up top. Once I put on a body shaper it was fine.

My wife has dreamed of owning this dress since she was but a young girl. So I obviously had to get it for her. Unfortunately, she's got some very wide hips that, with her short stature, like to interfere with enjoying many off the shelf articles of clothing. This went to the seamstress immediately and should be helpful next week (our 20th anniversary) to be really special.

As a Barbie doll collector, I so wanted this to work. The Unique Vintage Barbie red swing coat fit perfectly (with a petticoat) but Peaches ‘n Cream was too small in the bust area. This surprised me since Barbie dolls aren’t exactly known as flat chested. I’m a 34D. The problem is that there is no hook at the top of the zipper in the back. They made it exactly like a doll’s dress - I couldn’t zip it up. I might have been able to if there was a hook. You have to zip from bottom to top; for me the zipper was not strong enough for me. The length is adjustable so you don’t have to worry if you’re short—I liked that as a short person! I was sad to return if because Peaches is one of my favorite Barbie dolls. The tulle and glitter is cute. The pin it comes with - I was sad to return that too.

As much as I like this dress, I do have one complaint. My sister and I both bought this adorable dress, however we both got a rash under ourarms and around our chest from the sequins. The sequins almost cut into our skin. Otherwise we both got a lot of compliments.
