UNO Ultimate Marvel Card Game

I stumbled upon this game at the store. Looked interesting. Played it and immediately tracked down all the available expansions. It adds just enough complexity to the core game. Another great feature is each character having unique abilities, that change up your play style depending on who you play as.

I'm an avid uno player and the rules for this were too difficult to figure out how to play this. Wish it was wasn't so complicated because it looked fun.

My family and I are super into this game. Yes, it takes a little while to understand the rules, powers, etc but you get the hang of it as you play! My 7 year old daughter plays with us and absolutely loves it and loves using her special power from her character deck. We j finally found the 3 additional character decks and bought them!!! We’re so excited to play with new characters this time (especially since they are our fav marvel characters!). My dad, my sister and her boyfriend love this game too they’re dying to come over and play again. It’s our new favorite game in the house since we’re huge Marvel and Uno fans. We love having game nights and this really just amped it up for us. Also, please make more character decks with more marvel characters!! There are so many to choose from.

I bought this to play with other adults, and we had a blast. Being a fan of the MCU and curious about the history of the comic books, you will notice different artwork on the cards. It is really interesting to see the design of the characters throughout their comic book history. I hope to see add ons of different character decks so more people may join! As other reviews have stated, the foil cards are awesome, I wish to purchase more but it seems you have to buy more of the same game? I wish they were sold similar to pokemon cards. The game will be easier for kids if they first play with an adult who is already familiar with the rules.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly this is one of the most far-out things UNO as a game has done since I can remember. I am a collector of cards especially of Marvel. This blew my mind. I have purchased around 20+ boxes not including the add-ons (when you can find them) as well. The quality they put into manufacturing the color foil cards is spot on! Like I said I am a Super Collector of cards and these def. meets my standards and will go into my personal collection. The funnest part of this and proves to be the most challenging, is finding the Ultra Rare holofoils. I have over 160 collector Holofoil cards. Still missing SIX CARDS TO complete set! ! Such fun, oh such fun!

Recently purchased this game and it is a family favorite! Perfect for the Marvel fan and the artwork on the cards is great. Uno at its core and the new actions really add new fun! Easy to set-up and the new cards add just enough strategy without making it too complicated. Looking forward to adding new characters. Great mix of strategy and chance.

This is a family favorite! Uno at its core, but great new mechanics that bring out the Marvel theme. The artwork is great and the new actions add new strategy to Uno. Must have for a Marvel fan! Not a lot of set-up and great mix of strategy and chance. Some learning to get started, but after a few plays this is the go-to Uno version. Hope they keep coming out with new characters.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game is a very interesting new take on a classic. You definitely have to read all of the directions in order to follow along with the new rules, but it’s worth investing the time it takes to learning them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4 and 7 year old loved this game. The character prints were bright and engaging and got my kids interested in something other than screens. The cards were decently thick and sturdy, they didn't feel flimsy like some other card games.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My child is a fan of the Marvel movies so I was excited about a Marvel version of Uno, though it’s a tad complicated as compared to the tradition Uno. I do like the concept though it definitely took multiple attempts to explain and digest the rules.

The game was a bit advanced for a 5 year old to understand all the rules and the additional card set. He enjoyed seeing the Marvel characters on the cards and choosing one. We played the classic uno afterwards to make the experience more enjoyable.

We always loved UNO in our household but this game takes it to the next level for my 8 year old son and me. We could play it for hours! The added danger cards plus character cards are an amazing change up on an already amazing game. With the foil cards, it now feels like a card deck that you want to take care of and collect like pokemon etc. WE NEED THE ADD ON DECKS PLEASE!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This uno Ultimate Marvel game is so worth it. It comes with four separate decks of cards and a little pack of special mystery cards. The box also includes the rules and it’s packaged very nicely. My four year old actually started to learn how to play the game because of the superheroes on the cards. Not sure if they are all mainly Thor or different boxes have different main characters on the cards but I didn’t mind at all. Great family gift or birthday gift. Definitely recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my 8yo since he loves Marvel, & likes Uno, & I thought it would be a fun game to play together, which after a while it was, but it was so confusing in the beginning! The directions are NOT user-friendly & I had to go online to find a video on how to play this game. Once I watched that I understood more, but it was very confusing when I 1st tried reading the directions, FYI

He was able to combine his love of super hero’s, family games, and strategy all into one. The game reminds me of a video game but as a mom I appreciate that this provides a much needed break from screen time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This version of UNO wasn’t what I expected. I was expecting Avenger themed cards. It’s beyond that! It took a few games to figure it out but with children who are closer to the lower of the age recommendation it’s to be expected. The details are pretty amazing including the foil cards! Once you get the hang of the game it is really fun!

The instructions are a little intimidating, as there are 6 pages but once you play thru a couple rounds it gets easy. Love how you get to take on a character and use their powers to win and fight their enemies. Wish they had more characters out to buy. The foil cards are great addition to the already exciting game. This is more than just Uno. There are multiple ways to win or loose. We enjoy the extra excitement the danger cards bring to the game. The age says it’s for 7+, but it’s still a little confusing for them. It’s great for teenagers/young adults. I recommend if you like Uno and want to take it to the next level. Can’t wait to add more characters to my set. Packaging is great for keeping everything stored nice and neat.

The family loves Uno and Marvel, so this was a no brainer buy! Can't wait for the expansion packs to be readily available! I hope there are even more characters to come!

While we were super excited to try this version of Uno with our 8 and 11 year olds, we found it confusing at times and not as easy as we had hoped. I think over time learning all the rules and how to play as each character will get easier but it's still hard for right now. I would definitely say be patient and maybe try a few all adult games before rolling this out with your kids even though its rated ages 8 and up.
