Q: I am looking for a 10% hydrogen peroxide. Is this the one?

submitted by Krista - 8 years ago
  • A: Under drug facts, it states that it is 3%.

submitted byLiz - 8 years ago
  • A: 100% hydrogen peroxide would be extremely dangerous. For most household uses, 3% dilution (which is what this product is) is what is generally used

submitted byRae - 3 years ago
  • A: Yes. This is it! Doesn’t burn one bit.

submitted byAntknee - 5 years ago
  • A: It says 3% right on the front of the bottle.

Q: Can I use this to clean ear piercings?

submitted by CC - 2 years ago
  • A: No, you shouldn’t use hydrogen peroxide to clean a piercing because it’s very drying. Your piercer should have given you aftercare instructions and told you to use saline to clean the wound.

Q: Can I tell the expiration date from the lot number? I just bought a bottle and it doesn't fizz at all. Not in the sink, on a tissue, not on baking soda. Lot # is 217288A

submitted by Ineela - 6 months ago
  • A: I would return it. Should "fizz" or "bubble" when using to disinfect a wound. Could've been compromised during production or shipping.

Q: Can I use this to clean mine and my kids toothbrushes once a week? It looks like people use hydrogen peroxide as a mouthwash even? Just making sure this would be safe.

submitted by Ccc - 2 years ago
  • A: Hello - Thank you for contacting us with your inquiry!. yes, soaking your toothbrush in a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution or antibacterial mouthwash can help kill any bacteria that may be on it. To make and use this solution: Mix 1 teaspoon of peroxide in 1 cup of water. Swish the bristles of your toothbrush in the solution or soak for 15 minutes. The most efficient and inexpensive method to disinfect your toothbrush is to soak it in 3 per cent hydrogen peroxide. A 2022 study shows that soaking a toothbrush in a solution of 3 per cent hydrogen peroxide reduced the number of bacteria in a brush by 87 per cent Hope this information helps – Greshma
