Disgusting smell
The suction is very weak and anything that enters that bowl has the taste of silicone. Disgusting. Threw them all away!

I can't get the suction on these bowls to work. For the age my baby is at the suction is essential so he doesn't fling them off the tray.

Not just for babies
I bought these to feed a feral barn cat. Excellent for winter because they don’t crack when frozen and won’t leach chemicals in hot weather. They work great and don’t move around when the cat is eating. Smooth. Cleans up wonderfully. The perfect size as a cat bowl.

Makes food taste disgusting
These dishes’ material not only retains the flavors of dish soap but even worse TRANSFERS said flavor to the food. It was a mystery why our baby would sometimes hate his favorite foods until we would taste and sure enough these upward baby bowls struck again! Same goes for the plates. Also the suction can’t withstand and infant’s grasp so was kind of pointless. Major bummer. The spoon was great, though!

Can suction to baby's face!
I had these bowls for my first child and had no issues. Suction wasn’t great but an ok bowl. Started using them for my second child and he recently picked the bowl up to his face (because the suction doesn’t work) and it suctioned to him, covering his entire face. Thankfully I was right next to him and was able to pry it off. His little face is just right size for it to suction to because it doesn’t suction to my face. I read about this happening on Facebook and brushed it off because I had never had an issue before. I’ve since thrown the bowls away and informed Upward Baby of the issue. Please be extra cautious if using these bowls!

Nah
This material retains the detergent smell and taste and transfers it in the food that touches the surface. Also it was easy for my child to lift the bowl up as the suction wasn’t very strong. Threw all three bowls away.

Adorable and practical

Works better than other similar products
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used these types of bowls before and they have never worked as well. I think with the smaller bottom surface that it makes it harder for the baby to peel it off the table. The bowl size was great and the colors were good. Our kids use them a ton. They are also good not just for a season of life but even as they get older. We don't use our other ones since they are the types you can tend to grow out of.

I love the colors it comes. Another plus is that it can go in the dishwasher. The spoon that comes with it is good for my teething baby.

I have other bowls that are suppose to suction down but the seal constantly breaks and my baby tosses everything on the floor. These bowls stay put but are still easy to remove when needed. My go to bowl everyday.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son likes to throw his bowls or plate off his high chair so we got these to try. They don't really stick the best to his high chair he has been able to pull the bowl up. Idk if it's cause I stick it after the food is in the bowl and cooling but definitely don't have much of a suction cup but the bowl are still nice to use so definitely still worth getting.

Great Suction
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These bowls stick to any flat surface i tried, in fact they even stuck to each other when I stacked them. The bowls and spoon are easy to clean and did not get stained at all even when left for a little bit with food in them. The only issue I had was with the spoon. It is very flexible so it is good for when a kid is first learning, but there is not a support so if your child likes to bite down it can cause unnecessary messes. All in all though I am satisfied with the product and can easily use a different spoon now that my daughter is starting to self feed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the cutest bowls ever! First off, I love the colors. They are also have a suction cup at the bottom which is pure genius! Babies and toddlers love to toss and tip bowls and I'm so surprised I haven't seen anything like these before! The silicone is perfect! Hygienic, dishwasher and microwave safe, even oven safe if needed... but best of all they clean easily.

Leaves a lot to be desired
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to like these bowls so much. I really like the colors and the material the bowls are made out of as they are easy to clean but that’s about all I like. The only way for these bowls to stick to the high chair is to press the center of the bowl to the tray. So you have to stick your fingers in your kids food to press the bowl down to suction it. You can press the bowl first and then put the food in it but that’s not always an option. The spoon that comes with the set is great looking but it’s too big. If the spoon was shorter I think it would work a lot better. Overall, I would not recommend these bowls.

You do have to make sure you get a good seal, and even then my curious 14 month old was able to remove the bowl from the table if he concentrated hard enough but it did take him longer to remove than other bowls.

They are soft, flexible and the suction better than any other bowl I’ve tried! They stay suctioned and it’s a very strong hold! The spoon is soft and the perfect size. I really enjoy the colors in this set and best of all they are dishwasher safe!
