It has three pockets to catch food and is BPA, PVC, and phthalate free, so safe for baby to use. The placemat cleans up well in the dishwasher and is easy to transport as it rolls up and has a band. The only con is it may not stick well to certain surfaces (works best on non-porous surfaces). You can add a little water to the bottom to help it stick better. Overall, a handy product that will help mealtime be less messy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for our granddaughter. We love to babysit as much as possible and she likes to eat A LOT! this silicone mat has come in quite handy. I love using it at restaurants. She is just under 1 year and is in the picking up everything stage. Most of it goes straight to her mouth but quite a lot ends up on the floor. This includes plates and silverware. With this mat I have a clean place to put her food so she can feed herself. It sticks nice to the table and is easy to roll up and take home to wash. The tray that hangs over the edge is nice to catch all that would end up in her lap without it. I see us using this for a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, we’re using this mat for our 8 month old. It’s does well. It’s a little large IMO, but I’d assume most would want that. The silicone is nice and the little pockets catch the scraps. I think this is great. Honestly, we’ve even used it for our 2yo while out at a restaurant.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a must-have for any baby/toddler. It rolls up small to fit in your diaper bag and stocked to any surface (that I’ve tried so far). I use it at the table, in the high chair, at restaurants, grandmas house, daycare. It catches the food that doesn’t make it to their mouth and acts as a tray for under the bowls etc. then cleans up easily with a rinse or wipe.

I had a similar-concept placemat for my older kids that I used to toss in the diaper bag for eating out. I was hoping this would be similar; however, this thing is huge and definitely doesn’t fit in the diaper bag! It would be good for at-home use on a square or rectangular table - but my kiddo uses her high chair at home and our dining table is round, so it won’t work for us.

It was very bottom heavy and didn’t stay in place very well, especially on a circle table. I love the idea of this and the clean up was easy, just didn’t work for us.

This place mat catches everything she tends to spill! It’s saved our carpet a lot of stains so far and we have no complaints! It’s easy to clean and move around and we take it in the car too!

I frequently have to clean up after meals, after purchasing this there isn't nearly as much on the floor after each meal. It hasn't caught everything but with a toddler I feel like that's impossible to catch it all. It's been a great addition for less often needed cleanup. It didn't suction to the table so the kids can lift it off but I haven't had a problem with that and it's really stuck on to the table well.

This placemat is a very helpful addition for a less mess. I wish it had powerful suction. It is portable and just fits anywhere. I can take it anywhere even to the restaurants and I don’t have to worry about the table and germs. I recommend this to the parents.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we got this to use when our grandson comes over. It lays flat on the table and the little containers hang off to catch any spilled food. It really doesn't secure to the table and he can move it around. It does help catch most of the mess and it is easy to clean up and store. You can roll to up and carry it in the diaper bag which makes it nice to take along with you! I just wish there was a way to secure it to the surface.

We'll use this for the baby's spot. It sticks to the granite/quartzite really nicely. I like the small catch basin. It wipes clean with ease.
