I was so excited for a lip oil spf, but this does not hit. The packaging is cute, but as soon as you open it the smell is like sour feet. The taste is equally as bad and just lays in your mouth. After an hour my throat was literally burning from the product. I will 100% be taking this back. It’s absolutely disgusting.

Not worth the money. Simply- no plumping effect like it states, dries up in 5/10 minutes, have to reapply frequently. Tastes good tho. Not worth the price, just a pretty package. Should’ve spent more money working on the formula.

I love the texture and feel of this and I love that it has SPF, but it smells and tastes like throw up. I can only wear it with something else that smells and tastes better. For the cost I’d rather have something else with SPF.

I should’ve read the reviews first before buying this. Although the slip of this feels nice when you put it on, this product smells quite literally like vomit, and clearly I’m not the only one who thinks so. I think it’s the strange combination of the sweet “gourmand” and the chemical sunscreen that makes this smell absolutely horrific. You can also taste the sunscreen. An unfortunate miss from Vacation - love their other products but this was just not it. I ended up returning it immediately. Would’ve given it 1 star but gave it 2 because I do like the packaging, the feel, and the concept of an SPF lip oil. If Vacation reformulated this, I’d reconsider.

I was one of those suckers who saw something featured on NBC's Today Show and fell for the hype. What's not to like about an SPF sunscreen called Chardonnay? I love wine! I'm pale and always need sun protection! Something in Savannah's cringe when she smelled this product said it all, but I wasn't listening because I wanted to own it. The smell is something like buttered popcorn, yet not quite. It's a sickening odor and I cannot wear it. But even if I could tolerate the smell, the stuff doesn't linger. It disappears within minutes of just breathing so the spf couldn't be effective.

It's supposed to smell like Carmel, which I love, but it smells like poo. That's the best way I can put it. It doesn't matter how good the product is, the smell is a killer. I'll stick with my Sun Bum sunscreen lip balm.

Works great as a lip gloss, but it doesn't plump as advertised. When you put it over lipstick it gets lipstick all over the wand you us to apply it. Kind of an expensive lip gloss.

I love the smell so much I am genuinely shocked to see people say they don’t love it in the reviews. The formula is nice and thin but not too thin it’s a lovely lip oil! The only thing I find a little weird is that the spf in the ingredients is definitely not “clean” and it’s labeled as such by target.

I like this product! I just don’t love it, because it’s so thin+SPF product it gets into my mouth and leaves a taste that isn’t my fave, it’s not a terrible taste I’m just aware that I’m ingesting the product. I do love the shine it gives (love me a gloss) and the applicator + packaging, so I’ll use the product until I inevitably lose it or wash it but likely wouldn’t re-purchase.
