I have had my Honda Accord EX-L since buying it new in 2016. It has the K24 4-cylinder engine which has been bulletproof, other than it has burnt oil the entire time I have owned it. I am 3,100 miles into the first oil change with Restore and Protect 5W30, and the oil consumption issue has already been reduced significantly. The unexpected thing I have also noticed is how quiet and smooth the engine sounds, especially when idling at a stop light. Also, my MPG has increased by 2-3 miles per gallon. I will be switching all my other cars to Valvoline Restore and Protect. Try it and see for yourself. It does take time to work, so don’t expect miracles within the first few miles. It is not an engine flush.

I was having some start up rattling I believe coming from the timing chain on my 2008 5.7 L Toyota tundra. After just one single use, this rattling is almost nonexistent. I had a small leak coming from some unknown seal, which was probably very brittle after several years of use. This leak is almost nonexistent anymore. I will be doing the first oil change and I will report back my findings, but for now I am very impressed with restore and protect and will be using it Henceforth on my vehicles.

At 54000 miles, I had my dealer's synthetic tested at 6000 miles, and it tested well. But some Telluride's have had engine problems, so I decided to try Restore and Protect. Each oil change with Restore and Protect were cleaning more than the dealer oil, proving to me even an oil that tested well wasn't enough. Anyone with a direct injection engine 2021 and earlier probably used oil that wasn't up to the issues that direct injection causes. (Toyota and a few other manufacturers use two injection systems and may not have this issue as much.)

I love that I can buy and keep one product for all 5 of my vehicles that require 5w-30. Regardless of milage or condition the Restore and Protect is working perfectly in them all.
