Good oil for flat tappet cam engines.
I've used Valvoline products for decades, and use VR1 oil in my classic car. It has the zinc needed for proper wear protection with a flat tappet cam engine.

The only oil I use...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] VR1 is the only oil I use in my street and track cars. When you are pushing over 650whp on a turbocharged engine running on ethanol, you need a good oil to protect the internals from the harshness of the ethanol by products.

Perfect for old muscle cars
Just changed to this valvoline vr1 racing after using synthetic. I believe my bbc runs better with it, it just feels snappy on my 70 ss camaro. I'm old school and so should be my oil.
